I used hip measurement for the waist. So there have allowance for the elastic because our hip bigger than our waist.

assalamualaikum.nak tanya kalau guna waist measurement and nak guna full elastic band,perlu ke tambah seam allowance di bahagian pinggang untuk elastic band? jazakkallahu khair 😊
وَعَلَيْكُمْ السَّلاَمُ kalau nk buat fully elastic guna waist measurement tolak 5" cth keliling waist ngam2 30 so getah ambik 25". Seam allowance utk kiri kanan skirt ka? Dia x dak effect apa pun seam allowance neh. Yg penting pandai kira getah dgn ukuran pinggang pd skirt

Soalan 2. kalau nak buat separuh elastic macam puan idzyan,berapa panjang elastic band yang diperlukan,dan berapa panjang pengeras yang diperlukan?
Oh utk band pinggang kena tambah 2.5" boleh tgk video fully elastic tuh. Dah ada dh sy upload.

Hi, what was the actual hip and waist measurment?
I cant remember what measurement i used for this video. Maybe hip 38". You can use whatever number and use this formula. Hip /4 + 0.5"

I did mention it. It is floor line or bottom width. Its 15"

It is a standard formula for the width. There is no problem if u want to make more flares on it

On your pattern was your waist measurement the same as your hips? I'm a little confused lol xx
lol i already explained it in 0.17 . i'm using half elastic for the waistband. that's why i used hip measurement not waist measurement. if i used waist measurement how can the elastic can be stretch? besides at the end of video i show how to draft using your waist measurement. i hope i don't make you confuse anymore.

You used the waist /4 + 1”. (Dart) without elastic. Which line to you use to draft the dart towards the end?

What is close? i go inside 1.5" from hip to get knee
