    I think Charles Barkley called it a few years ago if Michael Porter Jr. becomes healthy and develops into Nuggets second best player then Denver is on its way to becoming a dynasty. Murray is still important but Porter’s shooting and defence is the biggest asset on the nuggets next to Jokic.

    • @Romanus-
      @Romanus- Місяць тому +6

      Yep, I agree. They’ve gone up 3-0 while Murray has shot the ball inefficiently so if Murray is shooting at his normal percentages plus MPJ ascending I could def see the Nuggets 3 peating provided everyone stays healthy. They have great team chemistry, a clearly defined leader that gets everyone involved so you don’t have guys getting upset that they aren’t getting their numbers. Really good player development and scouting. It’s def a good recipe for a dynasty, especially since their core is young. Jokic is 28 so likely won’t decline anytime soon.

    Great Convo on LeBron. What’s being left out here of the “types of guys that work with LeBron “discussion. The reason LeBron Has to have a certain type of guy to play with him is because there are so many holes in his game. With Jokić, we never ask this question Because he is so lethal offensively. You can’t guard him with just one player. LeBron has never commanded a double team in his entire career. That is why you have to resort to surrounding him with stand still jump shooters, or other guys that can Carry the load offensively. He doesn’t have enough reliable weapons at his disposal if the defense plays him in a certain way or his jumpshot isn’t falling. If you’re truly an all-time great player, we should never have to utter the words “if this or that role player doesnt shoot well then LeBron’s team loses “. Truly all-time great players can find other ways to win even when their role players aren’t hitting.

      Lol literally he has been double and triple teamed his whole career, there are reels of videos showing this. You have absolutely no clue about basketball at all. Just in one game footage from any year in his career, you will see step back 3's, post ups, turnaround jumpers, drives to the hoop, reverse layups. spin moves, midrange jumpers, floaters, alley oops, dunks, putbacks....not even mentioning his passing from every possible angle and his reads. Lebron never had a consistent coach and system like the triangle w Tex Winter and Phil Jackson with perfect role players to run that system with him as the focal point. Jordan and Kobe never won before that system and never won after. Lebron has won with different coaches and systems everywhere he has played. I literally just picked a random sampling of games...playoffs, regular season...and EVRY game he is being doubled and triple teamed. 100% wrong comment said w zero knowledge.

      @ashwar3639 no he hasn’t. Not in games that matter. Thats why the spurs could guard him with Boris Diaw and the mavs could guard him with JJ barea/deshawn Stevenson and why the warriors could guard him with iguodala. I’m not talking about the charlotte hornets on a random Tuesday night. I’m talking about playoff series when he’s playing a formidable opponent. And yes, LeBron can shoot any shot, but he doesn’t shoot a high enough PERCENTAGE on those shots to rely on them down the stretch of big games. He has shot only 37% outside of 5 feet for his career. Which means teams that are formidable can live with whatever he gets as long as he’s not getting to the basket. He also has been a subpar FT shooter which causes him to run from the FT line at end of games and keeps him from closing out playoff games. See nuggets series last year and this year for examples. Thanks for playing.

    I hope he opts out and finally leaves the Lakers alone. With Lebron, the Lakers have had six seasons with just one relevant season which ended in the bubble title thanks to AD and team chemistry. The other 5 seasons they had 2 where they did not even make the playoffs, and three in which they barely made the playoffs to then get bounced in the first round and soon it will be TWO sweeps of them.
    It is time to cut ties. Either let him walk himself so he can save face, or simply wait till he opts in and then trade him after that. The Lakers deserve a shot to build around AD with younger talent...
