I am in the middle of installing the Tokyo night, I have been away from streaming for a while and is redoing everything with my stream, first stream this week.
These look sick! Another amazing set of overlays 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I might just have to pick up that Tokyo Nights one 🤔 ... a decent custom CSS chat widget is so rare in what I've seen
Thanks so much for the video and resources. One question, after importing the scenes from SLOBS0 to OBS, the scenes do not take up the entire canvas. My canvas is set at 3840x2160 which is the same as my monitor. I've tried reducing it to 1920x1080 but then its too big. Any suggestions?
Just started streaming on Saturday and just got my first few chatters tonight thanks to your channel and your tips. Probably doesn't sound like much, but it was a really fun time! I have a lot of work to do to even start calling myself an entertainer, but so far this is a really cool hobby that I know I'm going to love. Wonder if anyone has a solution, I took all the steps to download the summer splash pack but and see the overlays in the folder but when I go on stream labs they aren't there.
That tokyo nights one looks exactly what I've been looking for to refresh the look of my stream! I'll definitely check it out. Fortunately I already have that font installed, so I don't have to ask you how to do it again

First off, amazing video. Thanks so much. I wanted to say that I was having a bit of difficulty with the chat widget not wrapping the text properly and being able see all that was being said. I think I fixed it and wanted to share what I did. Quite simple to fix actually. 1. In the CSS you provided, just change line number 93 from word-wrap: break-word; to overflow-wrap: break-word; 2. Make the browser source 800 x 600 and it will line up perfectly with the chatting overlay. Hope this helps someone.
This was helpful, I only face one issue. It clumps the message instead of using the whole space, It prematurely collapses the message making all the messages take more space. If you know the solution to fix this and make the messages look normal by chance, pls let me know. I would really appreciate it.
To be honest I’m just rubbish with computers really and been at this for hours and not getting far fast.been having to add it one by one and can’t find everything managed to stick it all on stream labs but can’t get into all the other stuff manually

These theme are really nice i use them only when i stream consoles though. Otherwise my pc does not handle game+ animated overlay :( 16 gb, gtx 1070, intel i7.... not enough to run this 🤣 the real secret behind streaming is a beast pc i think 😅

Either you’ve set it up wrong, or your PC isn’t good enough to handle animated overlays. Usage on a midline PC with these overlays only saw a 6-7% increase in CPU usage.

I am having trouble with the importing of the overlay file to obs i see the folder when i click on it nothing opens and nothing is in it. i downloaded the fonts while obs was closed extracted the files before that, but i cannot get obs to import the overlay.
Can anyone tell me why there is no sound when i test the alerts or when someone fx. follows. The sound for the alert is not playing in my headset but I can see its playing in the mixer/audio conrtol thing

These work in OBS, if you continue watching it explains you can either set them up manually in OBS or just use Streamlabs as the importer and nothing else. Free means not always the easiest, since it’s free.
Is it normal for the overlay install portion to take over an hour (for SLOBS)? Followed instructions to a T, and I've ofc googled, read the guides, restarted streamlabs and PC, etc. Thanks in advance!
Nope, not normal. Do you have an older or low spec computer? You might not be able to process animated overlays. These take about 30 seconds to install.

I had the same exact issue, but if you sort comments by newest first and scroll down till you see @tokyoscooterguy's comment from 11 months ago, that legend solved the issue for me! Very helpful!
It will change throughout the year, I think right now it is 10% but earlier in the year it was much higher, and will likely go back there. It all helps though.
