Once again SPR I am from Toronto Canada. I got sober after a near death experience from alcoholic hepatitis and your videos have changed my life and provided me with much needed relaxation and ease of my anxiety disorder. God bless you. I would love to be able to convey to you one day how you have been instrumental in my sobriety. I plan to become a member and buy some merch next month when I can afford it. Forever grateful.
I would love to see and hear a video where you describe your journey to be a passionate eye doctor, perhaps your struggles and key moments. Thank you and God bless!
I’ve been listening to your videos to sleep for a few weeks now and I can say 100% you are the best ASMR channel on UA-cam, thanks for all the good nights sleep and keep up the good work
Okay so this is top notch in terms of voice monotony! I love it when you sound like you're doing this 15 times a day, inducing a certain automatism in your oral presentation.
When the tapping is done in an unintentional way, like you're doing with the pointer, i get so many tingles, i actually need to scratch my head a little
Yay! I was hoping for a video like this. Your mesmerizing voice and the pointer are magical together. How about flipping through and pointing out/discussing optometrist equipment from a catalog with your finger? This was fantastic, and your knowledge is wonderful and interesting to hear, Professor SRP! Excellent!
I’m a physician and man, there are a ton of patients who’d benefit both relaxation-wise and educationally from your videos. It’s clear why people love you!
Thanks so much doc for being so dedicated to keeping us relaxed and entertained. You are one of my favorite asmrtists I’ve found in the last few years, but you post way more content than ANY of the others I watch. Really enjoy all your content and always look forward to seeing your new videos. Cheers from America!
th3 taps and moves against the poster just get me!! thanks man, really, you've made my nights much more sleepy ever since I discovered your channel, i'm glad to also be able to support you, thanks for all the help in falling asleep, how have you been??
I’ve been looking for videos with this specific trigger this is awesome! In the future if you make another video like this I’d love to hear more light tapping of the tip of the pointer on the poster. Great video! So glad I found your channel!
I am addicted to your channel, I only found you days ago. I can proudly say I've gone to bed every night listening to your voice, Doc. You have hands down one of the best ASMR voices on the site. It's appalling that you're only at 130k subs but it will only go up from here! If I was living in Birmingham I'd definitely get regular checkups even if I didn't need them lol.
As someone with vision issues, these kind of videos are so cool to learn what my optometrist is looking for. Last time I actually impressed her by some of the things I’ve learned from your videos! Love them!
I the pacient like videos are great (in my opinion the best in youtube), but my god the ones where you explain tools, conditions, tests... are always super interesting. Love them.
Hello there SRP ASMR. I've been watching your videos since you launched, and you really inspired me. I am now a high school student and i chose my future profession as an optometrist because i like it so much because of you! When i get in the optometrist class in the university I will let you know. Thank you!
You know the whole trigger imunnity thing hit me hard until I found the first of your vids that started with "welcome to the clinic" and since then those 4 words have become my favourite trigger
I couldn't use this to fall asleep because it was too interesting! 😂 Very informative and extremely well done. Both an excellent lesson on the human eye and an excellent ASMR video. Definitely favoriting this one 🙏🏻. Thank you!
It's like he's greeting the poster at the beginning lol joking aside, I really liked this video. Hearing stuff being explained like this is very ASMR inducing. Guess that's the point!
@@SRPASMR Yeah went great. Just some pressure when they put the thing on your eyes to keep them open and then I could smell them burning so that was gross. I actually had it done on the 14th and they're still healing, everything looks hazy still but clearing up. Probably the best thing I have ever spent money on, highly recommend it if needed.
As always a very relaxing and instructive video from Steven... Eager to see one of his famous Volk lens or lens 1 or 2 or without videos that have enormously contributed to his success 👍😉
I'd love to watch this video, but every time I rotate it on my phone, the screen goes up to max brightness - a significant problem when I'm watching it before sleep. I tried several other videos and it's only this one I've got the issue with. Is there an odd setting on the video somewhere causing it? That aside, I love your channel - the videos are very well done and are excellent for relaxing to. Thank you for your work 😁
Educational tingles are the best tingles. I never had floaters when I was a kid, now I notice them on occasion. Mostly I feel from exerting exercise. That normal?
As i make late dinner i watched this video and wondered about how or why these diseases happen to patients 🤔 Also I will also be watching this video tonite for bed since it made me very relaxed to the point where i wanted to leave dinner uncooked and go to bed 😆 😴
Not only did I love the stick but this gives me so much more visual for when you're talking about what's happening in other videos - like when I finally see what the crystalline lens looks like on the chart, I'm like "ohhhhh so that's what we're looking at" 🤓 Great as always!
I was about to sleep to this when I suddenly thought: “How did they know what the inside of an eye looks like? Did they cut open and eye and draw/photographed it?” And my sleep was instantly gone
Do you know much about SLK? I have been diagnosed with it and have been dealing with it for 3 years now. It just came out of nowhere and tests conclude no specific cause! :/
I have no idea what's happening with my phone, on this video. Is it it anything to do with the HDR? My phone goes super bright, on full screen - it's painful and intense 😅
I’m not sure why, but HDR videos are unbearably bright, i usually watch you for trying to sleep but now I can only listen since the video brightness is so intense
Not everybody with diabetes has diabetic retinopathy. But yes, we certainly look for DR and refer for blood tests if they’re an undiagnosed diabetic. Their GP can then make the diagnosis.
When the pointer gently taps or moves against the poster I get mad tingles!
I’m very happy that it’s effective

Stay safe my friend and there are always people out there willing to listen.
Please don’t spend your money. Your words are all the validation I need.
This is such a great comment ♥️
The passion you have for your field of work is an absolute delight to observe🙏
Oh yes !
My thanks 🙇♂️
I admire it too!
I see what you did there 👀
ive mentioned on a few videos how i love when you go into medical detail, this felt like a video just for me, i was enthralled the entire time
Superb. Thank you 😁

😁👍🏽 always overwhelmed to hear this. Amazing to think somebody would consider me the best. Many thanks 😊
As i already said, the gentle way you touch things just give me soo much tingles, it‘s just perfect
😊

One of my favourite videos of yours. You are not only a source of calm, you are a gifted teacher.
🙇♂️
It amazes me how you never run out of ideas! So good!!

I’m going to record another video like this soon.

You have been my favorite asmr artist for about a year. Love your work.
Music to my ears 😁🤜🏽🤛🏽
Absolutely amazing to see you learn us about the eye while making us tingle
I’m very lucky

Another great relaxing video. Using the pointer was class. So soothing
Wicked. Thanks. I’ve also recorded another.
This is the first video on your channel I watched and immediately subbed. Love a relaxing educational video. Well done and keep up the good work!
thanks for the sub!
asmr pointer stick videos are criminally underrated. Maybe this could be the start of a poster mini-series 😁
Great idea!
Another belter SRP. You bring your best every time!
Very glad you think so 😊

Following the stick actually relaxed me a lot, nice visual trigger

This was great! So relaxing and it kept my attention because I was learning! Thank you!!!
Excellent

Glad you like them!
Sometimes it amazes me our eyes work at all, it seems so simple and primitive but so advanced and complicated all at once
😂 so true!
I love educational ASMR!

My pleasure 😊
not even a minute in and this is incredible thank you thank you thank you
These vids make me fall asleep every night
Glad I can help!
Can you please do more of these? This is amazing.
Amazing work!!!
Cheers
I wish you were my eye Dr I'd never leave lol. Love your videos so peaceful. Thank you
So pleased you enjoy them 😊

Such an awesome video, very relaxing ^^
Glad you enjoyed it

This will do nicely! Thanks Doc 💜💜💜
You’re welcome
This was INCREDIBLE STUFF !!! thank you so much! Liked and shared
Perfect for sleep thanks! Good night now 💤
Sleep well
@@SRPASMR I very much did, sadly I have to be awake again lol
@@anoukthomas2470 I know the feeling. Give me an 11am lie in any day of the week 😂

did it go well?

Me when I next see my eye doctor: “well actually”
I quite enjoy when my patient asks me questions about what I’m doing.
You have perfect voice for asmr and perfect videos keep good work up
Thank you so much!
That is some Grade A content once again! Incredibly informative too. Love the pointer.
Thankyou!
I’m about to take a mid day nap😂
My favourite kind
This feels classic and more old school if anything😂

Ngl Doc looks hella fresh today👏
Nice trim on Friday

I recorded on new device in 4k. Didn’t understand why the brightness was bleached white 🤷🏽♂️
Educational tingles are the best tingles.

Strange how these thoughts suddenly pop into your head!
We cut open a sheep’s eye in school… it didn’t mind it wasn’t using it anymore
perfect timing

@@SRPASMR I love it!
@@buttercuppyow thanks for the accent appreciation. It’s not terribly loved by outsiders 😆
@@SRPASMR I moved up north myself so i’ve grown fond of it!
@@buttercuppyow how far north? I didn’t really recognise the accent until I lived at uni where people would point it out or when I returned home.
As someone with very prominent vitreous floaters (for quite a few years now), I'd love to see an ASMR educational video / role play on the subject. 😊
Thanks for the idea!
You're on your way to 200k 😎
😁
Nice pointer pal!
👍🏽
nice informative one tonight.
Definitely agree. Something different on the channel.
I wonder if u can use the autorefractor in asmr videos
Good suggestion!
Hi srp! Hope your having a wonderful day
Not bad. Dislike Mondays but not a bad one so far.
Can you go over myopia and it’s opposite counterpart?
I have moderate myopia and a mild football shape astigmatism in my right eye.
Great suggestion
Bloody awesome.
Thanks a lot
Wiped my monitor for 10 seconds before realizing the tiny smudge was on your lens.
If somebody calls me blind because I wear glasses, I flex that my eyes are longer than theirs.
It means nothing, but I feel superior.
😂🤓
A masterclass
Glad you think. Cheers.
Any ideas as to why this video is so damn bright? Even in the lowest brightness your phone can do?
I had a lazy eye (esotropic) but got it fixed with surgery 😁👀😴
Excellent news
ASMR with big brain stuff, hell yeah
😄

Thought of maybe starting an educational asmr series?
Already started 😆

I so enjoyed Rashford’s late winner yesterday
Alright alright hear me out SRP minecraft asmr let's play videos and I mean like a whole series 😂

I’m not sure why, but HDR videos are unbearably bright, i usually watch you for trying to sleep but now I can only listen since the video brightness is so intense
😬
I wonder if while you’re actually working, you begin to fall into doing ASMR 👀 like all your patients leave with tingles but it’s not intended
Sometimes I become aware of my voice, which never used to happen
