Volunteering with Extension

In preparation for a volunteer role in Extension, the videos and trainings provided will help set the foundation for one’s volunteer work. This video is intended to provide a better understanding of University of WI-Madison - Division of Extension as well as resources and tools in order to be a successful volunteer. Topics in this video include a description of Extension, the Wisconsin Idea, the five requirements of Extension volunteer applicants, and description of the volunteer agreement letter and confirmation of the position description(s).
Volunteers hold an important role within the Division of Extension and directly impact the experiences and resources provided to families and communities across Wisconsin. The staff at UW-Madison Division of Extension are thankful for volunteer support and the ways in which they teach, learn, lead, and serve, transforming lives and communities.
