There's a fantastic book by the german author Walter Moers called "Die Stadt der Träumenden Bücher" It's been translated into english "The City of Dreaming Books" (donno if that holds up, but the german version is really inspiring) There a "book-hunters" that run around this fantastic labyrinth and a lot of your characters are what I envision those book-hunters to look like. Awesome work man!
