From on objective outside perspective having an all powerful, never before seen or mentioned character show up and save all the main characters from an impossible situation is bad storytelling.
Last I checked Mace's lightsaber and the lightsaber of almost all of the Jedi who died in Order 66 were publicly melted down on Coruscant. Even Yoda's, despite not dying. He did lose his Saber in the fight against Sidious.
Oh I know what happened to Valorum, he went power hungry on another planet. A general that was once trusted by the council, he wanted to establish a new order with himself as absolute ruler. He went from The Phantom Menace to The Phantom Zone lol 🤪 (Superman reference, oh God, Zod)
Dude, I think you're in the minority of people who didn't like the return of Luke Skywalker at the end of Mando season 2. Most are even willing to over look the dodgy CG used to do it, which was much improved for the appearance in Book of Boba. And while.yes, Grogu's abrupt return to Mando was likely motivated by merchandising, the creators have said that in story, Grogu was with Luke for 2 years.
5:09 yes The Mandalorian Season 3 was weaker then the previous offerings, but specifically the supposed bending of the rule, the fact is that she saw the Mythosaur and nothing came of that is a much more important plot whole. There isn’t anything magical about the Dark Saber (even though it’s a great weapon) and their dogma around it was really only really canonical for a few religious hard-liners.
1:15 I disagree. Ive rewatched seasons 1 and 2 and I think The Passenger, while it is a bit slow, does flesh out some lore in Star Wars (like is “sublight” after FTL?) the chase and crash scene was really good. The spider creature were also in the vein of some of the best monsters in Star Wars, with some cool nods to Alien along the way. The Season Final of season two was really good, with a lot of genuine tension and the big reveal of LS at the end. I think the CGI could have been better, but it wasn’t bad. Also, you have to hand it to them, that it was actually decent heist that has stakes.
We get it, you're one of these Last Jedi fanboys who don't actually understand Star Wars. The fact that you called the universally loved finale to Mandalorian Season 2 "controversial" destroys any credibility you may have had 😅
If Voss doesnt show up in season 3 of bad batch with ventress we need a show about them uniting again it can even be focused on Voss or Assaj trying to find the other.
No he wasn't. After going out of their way to mention him in an earlier episode, and showing Kenobi's elation that Vos was still out there, they DEFINITELY would've made a huge point of making it perfectly obvious that he was dead and focusing on him if he was in one of those tanks, and not have it be a "blink and you'll miss it" type thing.
It was for my always strange how in Season 2 of Mandalorian Gideon wielded Darksaber with ease, same was with Maul and Pre Vizsla while in Book of Bobba Fett viewers were "slapped in the face" with obscure knowledge from Rebels about how user needs to focus himself for Darksaber for it to be light if not it is very heavy. It looked like Filoni watched episodes about Sabine during time between productions and he tought: "Hey we forgot about that part."
C'mon. Mando and Andor are not finished, so those subplots might go somewhere. Mace Windu's lightsaber is not a subplot at all. Valorum's reign ended, so no need to focus on this. Canto bight arms dealers was not really a "plot", just a way to show how things were not black and white in the galaxy. It feels like really pushing the envelop to create content. What's next ? "We never knew what happened to that kid selling death sticks ?"
It sounded a lot like you don't like Star Wars for most of it especially the first 3 here. It should like losing the Legends stuff hurt ya and never got away from it. Just odd for a host on a Star Wars focused channel to sound so negative about it all.
The Rescue was a phenomenal episode from The Mandalorian.
I agree and I think most people agree
I definitely agree
Probably the best SW episode alongside One Way Out
@@everyonesidol9731 Also Shadow Warrior from Ahsoka was incredible as well.
I don't think that Luke showing in season 2 of Mandalorian was a bad episode as it seemed most everyone liked that part.
Hold on. There's someone that didn't like Luke fucking Skywalker destroying those droids and saving the day?
This guy has a lot of shit takes

I feel like Andor's sister isn't some careless dangling plot thread, it feels like it was really just there to create the inciting incident.
Agreed

Whatculture does drugs.
And I'm thinking how did jar jar go from clumsy bombard general to Padme's next in command from phantom menace to clone wars.....
I find your lack of love for the Mandalorian.... most disturbing
11:18 that pisses me off. Saying Vos was featured more notably in TCW even though it completely changed everything cool about his character
The Creators of show, did say in some interviews, the child was with Luke for a few months
Wow. I have rarely disagreed with your channel's opinion more. You're gradually becoming a Star Wars hater. Bye.

So many Jedi survived Order 66, I'm starting to think only the idiots got killed.
Only about 100 or so survived, and the order at the time had over 10 thousand.
@@JediMasterRevenantMADNESS That many?

Don’t bad mouth Mando!!!
Uncommon? Criminals and dealers selling to both sides is not uncommon at all in Star.Wars media lol
8:00 crazy you show Tay Kolma in the vallorum section, because when I first saw the second andor trailer, I thought Tay was vallorum

Quinlan Vos (or however it’s spelled) is in one of the Amber tanks seen in one of the Kenobi episodes..

She didn't darksaber back because last time, when it was just given to her and not won in combat or duel, its didn't go well in long term,
Yeah, that's so.
you do know there's still one more season to potentially resolve that, right?
Anticlimactic? The whole Book of Boba Fett is anticlimactic

Leia was the other.

Hi
2:05 the Book of Boba Fett was pretty lame and the fact that the best episode in the show was not even staring Boba Fett.
past tense of 'slay' is 'slew'
English isn't that difficult
Andor sucks . Dont care
I guess I'm not the only one who didn't like Andor.
