Omg , such a similar story lol, I'm 37, have always loved EDM, Old Skool Hardcore, Rave, Jungle, DnB, Hard Trance, Hardstyle...anything I could dance too. When I first came across this stuff... I was like ERRRNOO. But then... something like a switch went off when I heard Yokisho - Mind Compressor and I like WTF, I LOVE THIS SHIT. ! Now I can't get enough. Sitting now on my bed, headphones on, just blasting and letting my brain be fried with dopamine from these crazy kick sounds... ahhhhh. I'm sad I'm UK and can't get to any of all the big events for this sort of music I hear about. Still gonna get a Masters of Hardcore symbol tattooed on me though!
