Your shop s about the same size as my shop, so I loved this tour. As I continue to fully convert our 2-car garage to a dedicated woodworking shop, and as I continue to buy more tools, I love seeing how others layout their shops. Very cool. Been a sub for a few years now and I always enjoy your videos! Thanks from Texas.
John, thanks for the shop tour. Most timely for me as I am building an addition to my house with a basement similar in size to yours. I will definitely be copying a lot of what you have. Yours is the best I have seen that fits my needs. I am basically a recreational woodworker since my retirement. At 74 I am hoping to have several years still ahead of me.
Thanks John! Lots of great updates to your shop. BTW, several of your upgrades I have made to my shop, like the outfeed table and table saw cabinet. Keep up the great work.
Great shop and great tour. Thanks for sharing with us. I have a garage in town that is also 24' X 32'. It started out as a garage where we parked both of our cars and I had a few tools. It has morphed into my shop that will no longer allow a car to fit with everything that I have accumulated. We are looking for a place in the country where we can have both a garage and a shop in 2 separate buildings. I love seeing other people's shops to get ideas for how to lay my new one out when I get it. You have some great ideas that I will use in my shop.
I really like your shop. I run a custom cabinet shop from my garage as well. I have to share it with the exercise equipment and other storage stuff. I can’t wait to get more space some day. Thanks for posting this!
Awesome shop! Been watching you for a couple years now. Everyone loves a good dust collection video! I'm sure you would do well with one. Oneida is fantastic but there are quite a few of those in recent years. I'd love to see you come up with something unique! 🙂
Great shop tour, John. I have purchased a couple of plans from you and made those items for the family. Also, I built my mitresaw station similar to yours which is great.
Thanks for the shop tour John! I have a space 14x20 in the basement that will eventually be dedicated to my shop. It is partially finished. Just waiting for the wife to get her craft "stuff" moved upstairs. 🙄😁
You had me at "I'm not one that's gonna have a big shrine of Woodpecker's tools up on the wall" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
😂😂
😂🤣So true... not a WP tool in my shop, but I do like my hand tools wall mounted by the workbench. otherwise...
@@TimRoyalPastortim some of the stuff is ridiculous haha, but everything I have from them is really nice and worth it in my opinion
Thanks for the tour. I've only been in my current shop for a little over a year, and it's in the beginning stages of transformation.

Thanks for the tour John. You gave me a great idea with your "pullout" sander. Can't wait to try that out!
Thanks for watching!

Awesome! Thank you!!
It’s great watching your shop transform over the years to what you have now. Wonder what it looks like 5 years from now. Maybe a woodpecker shrine? 😂😂
Hopefully added onto it by then! Haha

Personally I think Laguna should send you one of their nice dust collection systems.

Beautiful shop but I'm really surprised you'd spend that kind of money on all those tools and still use that bag dust collector.
It’s on the list haha. Does the job for now
@JohnBuildsIt you're lungs should be #1 priority
