I genuinely have no clue why people aren't talking about that outrageously strong mace you found. That much slash damage, let alone on a blunt weapon is fucking terrifying.
I was following this walk through until I got to that room with the two skeletons in the archives. The other guy in the back did not give me the same courtesy he gave you. The second I walked into that room they both proceeded to shove me into a corner and beat me unconscious twice before deciding they’ve had enough fun and caving in my skull Negan style.
I defeated sir by draging him to the lecture room, there, as I ran away, I used telekinesis to throw one of the chairs on the door, blocking it. Like this, when Sir tried to swipe, he fell, and with that large poleaxe, it was like two free hits and he would die in the third one, that is, if you do the combo of striking with momentum and crouching, preferably hitting his head. If the poleaxe is strong and has enough reach, you can easily kill him, it shouldn't take over 4 hits in the worst scenario, but I imagine you can just reset by running away and doing the same thing until he dies
@@GreyBeardGamingYT Try Hellmode, there is one Sir in level 1 behind a closed door near the entrance to level 2 and there are four(!) Sirs in level 4 😉
Right as I got to the point where we encounter the "First Enemy", about 3 seconds after engaging the skeleton, SIR WALKED INTO THE ROOM and demolished me 💀. I'm new to the game, this being my first ever playthrough, so I had no idea what to expect once Sir came into the room and started swinging haha. I feel like I got pretty bad RNG with his spawn? Idk if that's a thing xD Awesome playthrough by the way! It's been super helpful, and has definitely helped me get into the game easier, and experience the game with some training wheels!
The undead in the room with the two scrolls has a usually has a good quality sword, weird he was unarmed and in a fight stance without attacking, seems like a bug. Also if you leave Derrin behind he doesn't get XP, it has its risk but if you bring him along and chose the right dialogue he becomes a power house. Also there's a bit more dialogue if he fights with you (when you kill someone he knew, and when he seems to be less scared as far as I've found).
thanks though somehow i missed a healing on lvl 3 got one in this lvl though. but need to use it i got one big and one small left for next lvl. this game is tough gets easier once you understand it kind of but still tough. lol do you save the blue balls for later in game or.
I'd like to leave this here, I was attacked by Sir at a bad time and when I was knocked down the weapon I was carrying got... Duplicated. I'm not sure how.
Great video, buddy. I just went through the fourth floor, and despite exploring the entire map, I couldn’t find Sir. I wanted to fight him, but there’s simply no sign of him. Do you know what might have caused this? 🤔
Hey bud, I've been enjoying the videos and thought I was doing pretty well, getting to the portal of level 3 only dying once, Then I hit this level and it's just so incredibly frustrating finding gear and a health potion over and over again, gunning it to level 6 with the intention of triggering a save, and then just dying and having to collect everything all over again. I tried going back through the portal, left all of the things in my inventory I didn't need, re-entering the portal, exiting the game and continuing and there's just no way it seems to trigger a save again. Do you have any suggestions at all bud?
git gud Lol jk sort of... It's a hard game that really does require some level of bashing into things you're not ready for and getting published until it clicks. I would recommend playing like I do in this series and never rush anything, take your time fighting as few enemies as safely as you can at a time. If all else fails you can scum save manually by going into the game files and backing up your save. You'd have to Google that option though if you want/need it.
Lol, that was the response I expected, but not the one I wanted. It's definitely hard. Upon firing it up, I died against the first Zombie because I hadn't found any gear or gotten used to the controls. I then somehow immediately got good at it and killed every enemy I came across on floors 1-3 (somehow missed area 2.5 so will have to follow your guide to backtrack to where that is) and it wasn't until reaching floor 4 that I got my butt handed to me. Is it the Kinesis path you took to get your weapon and armour magically empowered? I thought it may have been Barrier, so I've started going that route, but because the checkpoints are so awful, I keep getting reset back to before I had it. I don't fancy going in and playing with my system files to make saves, so just wondered if you knew where the next save point may be, or is save editing really my only option?@@GreyBeardGamingYT
@@Renikade yeah I don't think there's any save after the portal. I could be wrong though. I always played the game under the assumption it was permadeath so maybe that mind set helped lol
Oooh boy, this is going to be a ride, haha. I actually just got past level 4 and lured the huge demon down into the hole. I'd rather survive than get the exp, haha. I realised that instead of aiming my swings at the enemies, if you aim beyond the enemies, when the hit makes contact it deals a much harder blow. So now all of the armoured skeletons are done and the entire floor is clear. I wonder how tough the Necromancer will be at the end, whenever they implement that.@@GreyBeardGamingYT

Barrier will block Sirs attacks and barricade spell with a polearm or using throw are also other effective ways to get his exp.

Sometimes you can actually kill Sir with an enchanted poleaxe by landing a single hit into his ugly face when he stares at you after attacking.

sir dragged me with him into the hole like 2 years ago. As he was falling he hit me with his hand and I fell down after him
question so where does the room with the giant knights with polaxes lead to if you decide to go that way
It skips the whole level and takes you to level 5, however the knights will "wake up" and you have to run from them to reach level 5

When sir apeared to me, i was able to flee, and lock him up in the room
I killed Sir with just 2 overheads to the dome. Using a Pole Axe.

Lol did he fall down the hole on his own? Seems unlikely. Probably you just haven't found him yet (he moves around) or he's bugged and didn't spawn

Playing arena mode is good practice for familiarizing yourself with the combat mechanics. As far as I know there are no saves after the portal
why is your weapon glowing blue?
It's a spell you can learn. It enhances the DMG of your weapon.
