Aesop is truly a genius and visionary with his knowledge of the english language, my mind is constantly being stretched and expanded by his story telling, I love it!
I hate now in days when someone asks who my favorite artist is and I say "Aesop Rock" they reply "oh yeah, i like asap rocky".. Not cause I have some huge problem with asap (he sucks in all honestly though), I just hate having to explain it every fucking time..
Asap and Aesop make different forms of music, I personally like repping Rocky at parties but I love rocking to Aesop in my personal zone. I have mediums, it honestly makes me feel a bit weird going from "Yeah, I'm gettin' cake, yeah, it's no debate. Yeah, I fornicate with foreign hoes that I date, like, every day" to "I stagger this vagabond wandering minstrel forms your phobia worst fear" in a split second.
+Jazzy that was perfect. I like them both too. asap is fun to bump while rolling through the city, Aesop is amazing to put on your headphones and lay down in bed and try to comprehend. spare a match for the most distorted orchid in the patch, assorted orphans morbid orbit forward towards the trap..... that might be my favorite line from him or anyone, and he honestly beats any rapper in lyrics. but the actual sound, that's all personal choice
@@OracleTheRonincheck out the Dub-L album on my channel if you’re interested . At the time of posting I couldn’t find the entire thing. Also, the Blockhead remix of MF DOOM’s My Favorite Ladies is one of the better versions I think. Some good work with Billy Woods too outside of obviously Aesop
@xxthizz420xx No Way!, man never!!!!! That guys is light years ahead of his time not only with his abilities but with his music as well!! Watch the next album he drops is going to open a portal to an alternate realm/deminsion...
@fookii99 yea I totaly agree, but Im more of the opposite. I give wiz props for taking such an under-rated song/artist and bringing it to the masses. Wiz has more appeal than Aesop and thats just how it goes today. Yea I agree Wiz's lyrics are getting a bit stale, but using weed in his lyrics is whats gettin him recognized. But dont get me wrong I love Aesop he is a pioneer of underground hiphop and atleast Wiz recognizes that
The fact that HBC423 thinks "Style" is objective, indicates he doesn't understand majority of what makes up Aesop Rock. HBC423, you are the Mr. Jones in 'The Ballad Of A Thin Man' that Bob Dylan talks about. I will let you know when the oxford dictionary redefines "wit" as being a loud and arrogant racist who complains too much about things they don't understand, whilst growing "monster trees"... (yeah, I don't know what the hell HBC423 thinks he is accomplishing either)
When it comes to battle they'll be bloody water " troubled waters" Aesop's ability to make poetry into music. Can also be use letal weapon turning him into a spiritual serial killer
All im going to say is, this song makes fun of Wiz Khalifa, before Wiz Khalifa was even famous. And to all those on the mainstream rod and prodding at the assholes, just don't listen to Aesop, drink your apple juice.
And this guy sells records and tours the world...you aren't shit. Saying Aesop Rock has no style is pretty fucking ignorant considering he has one of the most unique and recognizable sounds in hiphop. The dude is a poet and you obviously can't appreciate his take on RAP (rhythem and poetry), or more likely you don't understand it.
aesop rock cant do fun songs or club song that why no one knows him, slim shaddy will kill him easy, he got his stle from a rapper name thirstin howl) song called hard rock
Eminem and Aesop are apples and oranges. Also easy on the crack rock; Thirstin Howl and Aes sound nothing alike and the song 'Brooklyn Hard Rock' which also sounds nothing like Aes was recorded long before Howl's first shit was put out
lole. imagine thinking ure critique is relevant when u never dropped a verse remotely resembling this. "emcees appear as red blips on my color radar screen"
My favorite Aesop Rock song. 🖤🖤🖤
Over confidence, leads to Irony - Aesop

@xxthizz420xx Nah dude, this is his passion. It just wasn't his best cause MTV isn't used to playing anything incredible.

the instrumental that made wiz khalifa famous
What
Still, was originally made by Hocus Pocus. XD
@JackSprattMusic his producer has the best ear for instrumentals not wiz himself
what do you think hes talking about

"real motherfuckers" "radio" lol
@uselesswater Wiz khalifa ?
@HazedByPurple why the fuck would it matter the time when it was sampled?

fuck nooo wiz became famous off of grinding his ass off bro.
No one cares. Both songs are good. Also talk producers here cause the rappers didn't make the beats!
wiz khalifa took this beat fliped it up. sampled this check it song called the statement.
