I was just saying on another post of long eared in Lancashire that I didn't know that they bred here in Lancashire and I have only seen them twice in the wild once at Belmont and again in Tockholes and a few at a roost in Blackpool a long time ago.... I'm in Blackburn and I have watched the short eared owl on the moorland nesting behind Darwen tower and they have been around there for years... just wondering if I could have an inclination of where roughly i could have a chance to see them here in Lancashire....i understand the implications so......
