Ugh. I'm just over all of it, tbh. The way the aIphabet mob has acted these past few years has left a really bad taste in my mouth. When I was in my partying days with my girls, for me this song ticked damn near all the boxes and for my group as a whole all the boxes. If it wasn't Dylan no one would be raising such a stink, seriously, but since it's Dylan Mulvaney, it gives us license to be extra shitty, rude, make unfounded assumptions and say things that are extremely hurtful. At university I had a girly girl roommate who behaved just like Dylan, she even flipped out about bugs like Dylan, she wouldn't go in the huge dorm bathroom because there was a moth on the ceiling. Now, I am a dyed in the wool skeptic and have been playing close attention [Dylan] during her transition and can see marked changes in her appearance due to hormone therapy, her skin, muscles, legs and voice have all become much softer, more feminine, she is even filling out her clothing as her breasts develop. I think you would agree that each person's transition is unique only to them, I'm not talking about the assorted peeps on social media who film misgendering, and teach trans issues to their first-grade class, etc. In the face of all the hate and ridicule heaped upon her, I think she hides her pain pretty damn well by making light of it as well as by also playing it down, etc. Dylan also didn't bankrupt Bud light, this is on the company, they made a shitty marketing decision, and it blew back in their faces. I think quit the constant ridicule, it's long past due.

the video comes across as dumb blonde on steroids. It's is not a good song and Dylan admitted it was the most annoying song ever. This was not done on the fly. It wasn't done on a weekend in some guy's basement. This was a production with a script, song, costumes, extras, the music. So, this was well thought out and very intentional.
This Dylan acts as if we’re dumb if this had taken off Dylan would’ve been like oh we worked so hard thanks for all the appreciation but because it didn’t Dylan is downplaying the obvious effort that was put into it
It’s not even the most annoying song ever, that would be the “We buy any car!” commercial song. Dylan’s song is forgettably bad as opposed to earworm bad.
Dylan continues on with the stereotype of what a woman is, and women have told Dylan that we don’t like that, but Dylan keeps pushing on. You said it perfectly, thank you Buck 🤗❤️
@@whocares_bear And because other ppl continue with stereotypes, objectification and sexism, Dylan has a free pass to do so? How about simply judging the act instead of weighing ppl committing it up against each other?
I don't think Dylan is a trans woman with dysphoria, I think Dylan has AGP - unless I am way off the mark, any "trans woman" who says "normalise the bulge" could not have dysphoria (a trendy idea of dysphoria maybe...). Add to that how Dylan's idea of "girlhood" specifically, is very sexualised... yikes.
Also, look at all the other cringe pop songs by female artists that have existed since the 80s. No different. It's JUST pop music. Really bad pop music. Nothing more, nothing less
@@whocares_bear Everything with Dylan is "girlhood" "girls", not "women" or "womanhood", and from what I hear has a large under age following on tiktok. There is a lot of infantilising of femininity, side by side with a lot of sexualising of it. It about being a very stereotyped and not very flattering kid's barbie doll, but with very adult sexuality tied to it. At this point I would not be surprised if Dylan is, as some put it, "a fan of the playground", because that kind of perversion is rooted in an aversion to mature adults, something that usually starts in childhood as a result of some form of abuse or neglect.
A loud, unbalanced, attention seeking person from any group causes burnt bridges for regular people. It's unfortunate. You, Blair & Marcus are necessary voices for sanity, which is lacking in this world.

I do not understand the push that "trans is biological". Gay people will say, "yes I am a homosexual man" and they dont have to attach it to other men. Why is it so hard to say, "yes I am a transwoman" and just own it?
I’m beginning to wonder, if Dylan needs the”haters” to stay relevant, which is why he dropped this lil gem, because he had to know it would irritate a lot of women. He pretty much abandon his tictok fan base by posting once a month once he got famous, when all the brand deals dried up, so he likely needs to upset you, there is nothing a self absorbed attention seeker hates more than being ignored.
Dil-Dil can put this song right back where it came from, Gooooorl, we are in full Eurovison season, we don't have no time for your little theater kids pop.
They ought to experience the frustration of your period faking you out. Like just when you think the worst is over and it's winding down, it gushes out of you. Dylan's interpretation of what being a woman is does not show any real empathy, it's just all about a romanticized view of what a biological woman goes through.
@@mtc-3charis YES! And they have no idea how rough it can be with all the reproductive issues we experience. Transwomen are lucky they don't have to worry about these issues because they don't have the parts for it, but there are all these noisy tiktokers now making a mockery of period cramps and whatnot and I'm just 😤
The song literally mocks women and Dylan tried very hard to look like Margot Robbie as barbie in the video Dylan literally ripped the whole look from barbie.
@@WhisperintheWind03I wonder how Margot feels about that? I mean REALLY feels (I bet she wouldn't be too impressed, Aussies are pretty blunt if they don't like stuff)
It's weird how her focus is on girl hood and not women hood. Idk if it's that big of a deal, but it just makes me feel like there's a strange extra motive behind her message.
I do agree to an extent but a lot of women still say girl when talking about themselves or other women. Tons of women call their friends girlfriends or refer to themselves as girls.
This is nothing more than a musical theatre number portraying a caricature of 1990s/early 2000s romantic comedy girlfriends. Which is fine, but.... Dylan doesn't know who Dylan is.... except all over the place. (I say this as a theatre geek who does cherish a good laugh and ridiculous shenanigans and playful over-the-top numbers, i embrace the weird and the strange... but Dylan comes across as a costume, not a person.)
The most offensive thing to me as a vocalist is the terribly obvious pitch correction. Dylan is actually a good singer when he is using his normal voice.
"Days of Trans Women" as a title could have helped foster understanding for trans women! I love that. The I-don't -want-to-hear-you attitude Dylan is holding is dividing people.
You hit the nail on the head Buck, as usual! As a woman, Dylan rubs me the wrong way by mocking us and calling themselves a GIRL. Ugh. Just live your life and leave us alone!
if this was just a normal song like "i kissed a girl" or "last friday night" i wouldn't care. plenty of songs out there sang by biological women promoting this type of stuff because it's just a song and plenty of women enjoy money and sex same as men do. what bothers me is the song title and implying THIS is what girlhood is ? it's insulting to what girlhood is.
Dylan’s older videos were of safaris. This person jumped onto an algorithm and became what the algorithm told him to do. Period. And when you have celebrities and even the pResident inviting you to the White House, there’s no way this person is going to listen to anyone but those ppl and the algorithm.
1:41 This is the lyric that p***** me off as somebody who's a man. If I as a retail worker which I am a retail worker. Ever see somebody flat out? So dylan managed to pass off 3 groups of people when then transwomen. And retail workers.
I really appreciate that you say "you weren't raised in a woman's space" and growing from that space as a transman was probably the hardest part of my transition because it IS different for girls and boys, especially 20 years ago.
Buck, your beard is absolutely on point today! Love to hear your viewpoint. You're so rational. There is a very popular trans lady in the UK called Alexis Blake. She's very rational like you. To me, you are both great ambassadors for the trans community. Lots of Love to you xx
@@welsh.truth.dragon3914 Dylan has a male mind and always will. That is why this video was created and done this way! It’s sound more like a gay man’s view point!
Honestly, the song itself is so mid that if it was made by anyone other than Dylan Mulvaney, nobody would be talking about it. It's just kind of a generic girly pop song that hits that sweet spot between being listenable enough to not hurt your ears, but not really interesting enough to warrant attention, aside from the fact that it's made by a controversial person.
The last time I invited all my girlfriends over and we sat on my bed in our sexy lingerie, we . . . Oh right. That never happened in my bedroom and never will! Ridiculous. The entire thing.
I would love to see Dylan actually spend a month in a real woman's life, you know... getting up and feeding the kids, cleaning the kitchen halfway then jumping in the shower and getting dressed while making lunches and seeing the kids on the bus to school, back to getting ready for work, driving to the office and putting in a full day. Leaving the office, heading home while talking to mom to ensure she successfully got the kids off the bus, stopping at the market and grabbing groceries then heading to Mom's to pick up the kids, driving home, unloading the kids, dropping a load of laundry in and then putting away the groceries. Start making dinner while finishing up the breakfast dishes. Help the kiddos out with their homework and drive one or two to sports. Get home to find the kitchen a mess and your husband in a bad mood because he's gotta mow the lawn, run a bath for your youngest and switch out the load of laundry. Get the kids to bed and find its 9pm realizing you haven't eaten yet and the kitchens still a mess so traipsing back to clean that mess you finish both loads of laundry too and finally get to sit down and read a little or catch a quick show but you inevitably fall asleep on the couch after 10 minutes and your husband wants to know why you never have time for him anymore. Weekends are even better because the entire house has to be cleaned. I'd love to see Dylan after a month of that try to flit around in some girly dress wasting all that time on his fake hair, nails, makeup and stereotype of a woman to understand his thoughts on it afterall. Sure, we make it look easy and men presume they can emulate us simply by wearing makeup, a dress and acting silly but it's much, much more than that and this is why I find him so offensive. His pretense and portrayal of only a sexual aspect of being a woman is abhorrent. Its nothing like us, it's nothing more than a television skit. A half hour sitcom with commercials. And for this they want to allow men in women's bathrooms, in women's changing rooms and in women's sports, seriously? How messed up is that.
Wow, that's one long drawn-out false equivalency fallacy. Maybe delegate some chores to your "kiddos", they're never too young to learn how to wash and fold their laundry and help with dishes, just think how well prepared they'll be when they move out.
@@cherylmillard2067 nice but I don't think 3 and 4 year olds are good at doing dishes. Maybe I could have them paint our house and lay new floors in the upstairs though. Lol. And it's not a fallacy dear. Maybe not your life but certainly many of us.
@cookingforme4711 I just love your dismissive sarcasm, and yes, your longwinded oh poor me explanation was indeed a false equivalency fallacy. 3- and 4-year-old kids love to help, start them young with age-appropriate tasks.
@@cherylmillard2067 there's no poor me in a real woman's world, instead it's a labor of love contributed over centuries of time by the gentle and nurturing sex. Yet conflating the subject and being slightly insulting can be a way to try and push agendas against biological women who may be timid unlike the two of us. I won't fall for your battle cry to allow men to wear dresses and call themselves women without taking on the entirety of the roll.

I...Don't...Know how to feel...I see people in the LGBTQ+ in the area I live in praise Mulvaney, but it all rubs me the wrong way. There are a bunch of AFAB and AMAB who idolize the current trans community because of people like Mulvaney. 20 years ago, when people were trying to convince me all I was was trans, the community wouldn't take some one like Mulvaney making a complete mockery of girls/women. I have stood back and watched this community I once thought MAYBE I could sort of fit into go from a supportive group who wanted to help it's members to a group of people who just hate women in general. On the outside looking in, I see the community hates Buck because he doesn't go and say he's 100% male now. He has respect for where he started off as and has build from that foundation. He respects women/girls/females and this new trans community hates that. Mulvaney on the other hand is praised because he's mocking women at every chance that pops up. 🙄 But, I might be missing something as I am on the outside looking in. This is just how I see thing.
Buck I’m a gay man. I can also really respect you as a Trans Man. You deserve total respect as you are such an honest human being. I have no problem with the genuine Trans community and fully support them. It all about honesty. Your amazing
The TikTok he made really confirmed what I thought. He said a lot, without saying/explaining anything at all. Love you Buck, can't wait to see what you think about this ❤
Didn't Dylan also complain about not being able to find someone who'd go out with them? So where does the reference to the walk of shame and not knowing their name come from? I might be wrong of course... but Doesn't sound like it's reflecting the experience talked about before...
Who are we to dispute whether she's a woman if she calls herself that. The deeper issue is she is basically famous for it. Like, what about all us women 😅 is she famous on any other merit? Does she have any talents or skills that are admirable? Its almost like a 'pick me.'why is that celebrated and yes, why are we giving these people platforms.
I haven't been following you long enough to get a full view of you, Buck, but I'd really like to know more about who you are, and what your story is. I don't want to say what I think I understand so far because I doubt I have the context understand you well enough to be accurate, and could be speaking out of place. But either way, I've really appreciated your content, maturity, objectivity, et. al. You're doing well at what you're doing!
The thing is Dylan likes calling "herself" a girl not even a trans woman. So, by calling it Days of Girlhood rather than it Days of Transwomanhood, is an insult to both girls and women. All Dylan has been doing is a stereotype not being authentic to "her" true self. This is why posting content like Dylan's burned the bridge too quickly. #JusticeForWomen #JusticeForGirls #JusticeForTransWomen
"There's no such thing as bad publicity", the mantra of DM. He knows he's pissing off a lot of women, and IMO at this point he's doing it intentionally and that's really not okay.
Dylan's problem is he talks about "girlhood" when he is a 27 year old man! I know of no woman who rolls out of a car with shoes rolling out first. But if real women speak out they are called haters. 😮
I think it would have been better if he did it in a way like "Days of my transhood" because it sounds like he was kinda trying to talk about his transhood, but idk 🤷♀️
I just don’t understand how people like Dylan (men) don’t understand the difference between women…and the *idea of what a woman is/should be.* I can’t think of a single time period, memoir of a woman where those were the same concept. They never are and never will be. Not even for the pick me’s. If you don’t grow up as girl to womanhood it’s something that will never be understood. I know….I *KNOW* ….that men can tell the difference between a man and the idea of what a man is/should be because they just aren’t the same. So why would it not apply to womanhood as well?….

@@griff404 i certainly get your point, to stop bringing attention to Dylan, and hope he goes away! I wish that would happen.
the video comes across as dumb blonde on steroids. It's is not a good song and Dylan admitted it was the most annoying song ever. This was not done on the fly. It wasn't done on a weekend in some guy's basement. This was a production with a script, song, costumes, extras, the music. So, this was well thought out and very intentional.
This Dylan acts as if we’re dumb if this had taken off Dylan would’ve been like oh we worked so hard thanks for all the appreciation but because it didn’t Dylan is downplaying the obvious effort that was put into it
He wanted to trigger everyone.
@@darktheme2192 Maybe he succeeded?
It’s not even the most annoying song ever, that would be the “We buy any car!” commercial song. Dylan’s song is forgettably bad as opposed to earworm bad.
Dylan continues on with the stereotype of what a woman is, and women have told Dylan that we don’t like that, but Dylan keeps pushing on.
You said it perfectly, thank you Buck 🤗❤️
Yeah, none of the female pop artists today or in the past ever sang about sexist stereotypes in their music. Never

I don't think Dylan is a trans woman with dysphoria, I think Dylan has AGP - unless I am way off the mark, any "trans woman" who says "normalise the bulge" could not have dysphoria (a trendy idea of dysphoria maybe...). Add to that how Dylan's idea of "girlhood" specifically, is very sexualised... yikes.
YES! This is exactly what I'm saying.
Dylan said "girls like us", not ALL of womanhood. It's not that deep
@@shadowjewel Wow. You are going way too deep. That must've been some excavator you bought

The biggest issue is a grown man larping as a girl and not a woman, but maybe that’s just me?
Not just you!

They ought to experience the frustration of your period faking you out. Like just when you think the worst is over and it's winding down, it gushes out of you. Dylan's interpretation of what being a woman is does not show any real empathy, it's just all about a romanticized view of what a biological woman goes through.

Say cash or credit, I say yes, I'm losing my job that night because I am either going to jump over-the-counter and lose my Christianity that day. Or I'm going to just quit on the spot.
Don't forget doing all that with cramps or while 8 months pregnant.
@@cherylmillard2067 there's no poor me in a real woman's world, instead it's a labor of love contributed over centuries of time by the gentle and nurturing sex. But yes you have a point where children should learn to be self reliable and I doubt anyone would argue that point.

But, I might be missing something as I am on the outside looking in. This is just how I see thing.
