    If you want to learn Korean, definitely learn hangeul (한글, the Korean alphabet) before starting. It’ll transform your pronunciation from confused foreigner to potentially native. I would also recommend you learn your numbers, both native and sino-Korean. You hear them used in this tutorial (하나 주세요, Hana (one) juseyo (please give me))

      You can actually make the playback speed slower on YT - just go to settings and put the speed at 0.75
      The sound will be a tiny bit distorted but still good enough.

    This was uploaded long ago, so I doubt I'll get a response, but I am in Yonsei Uni's coursera course LTSK1, and these responses are different. So, which versions are correct? I kinda feel like every other resource I come across gives different responses to the same situation/question.

      In this case, it connects two nouns, meaning "and", but in other cases, it can mean "with".

      Eko Budiono Tedjo learn the Korean alphabet 한글 first. I learned in fairly quickly in a few days and now I can read everything in this video which I am honestly quite amazed by.

      I taught my friends by making them read advertisements, and quizzing them. And they learned very quickly so if you want try it out!

      ㄹ- R sound (and l sound)
      ㅏ- Ah sound
      라= Ra
      ㄴ- N sound
      ㅣ- ee sound
      니= Ni
      ㅇ- substitute consonant no sound (unless at the end of a syllable)
      ㅏ- Ah sound
      아- Ah
      All together its 라니아!

      Thanks for posting. 여기(here)요(polite suffix) means 'here', and 저기(there)요(polite suffix) means 'there'. The first says, 'here please (if you are calling at a restaurant), and the latter would be 'over there(please pay attention to here please)'.
