The most forgotten place in GTA 5 is the Palomino Highlands, because there’s literally nothing there at all. No buildings, walking trails, or anything.
I've been playing GTA SA, GTA IV and GTA IV's DLCS and GTA VC for months, I beat all of these GTA games I mentioned and there are places I did not visit due to missions and side missions. And there are also places I rarely visit. I will commend places that I've never visited or rarely visited. GTA VC - Vice Beach GTA SA - Bayside and Los Santos International Airport. GTA IV - Charge and Colony Island
2:41 So true Because as a little kid playing this on my ps2, this was my favorite location to go to sometimes. Such a shame that this location doesn’t have a safe house or a 2 player mode icon except it’s only there for Scenery and boating school.
This. They could have developed twice as many missions for this game and still not ran out of map locations to exploit. For as much as they packed into the game I would loved for them to pack in even more into some of the lesser traveled areas.
I remember visiting everywhere in this range of GTA games. The entire GTA series: same s***, different characters, settings, and stories. Nostalgia! 😆😎👌💯
I'll disagree about Los Santos not having an unforgettable place in SA, the airport not counting its runway is so confusing you just don't want to be there. Then there's the observatory, very famous in GTA V but forgettable in SA and Vagos neighborhoods are mostly forgettable except for the NRG 500 parking lot and stadium.
Bayside used to be my favorite town in san andreas, it's so calm there early in the morning I used to drive a fletzer through the gant bridge and enjoy the vibe there, unfortunately that town has no safe houses, no missions, no stores not even a barber shop, the only reason you would go there is for the boat driving school which i only remember doing it once

GTA 4 is definitely not forgotten! I still play this game and i drive all around the map and visits all these islands from time to time just for fun because all i do on GTA 4 is driving everywhere where i can drive. Driving from the island where you start the game and to Alderney Island is something i do everytime i play this game because i'm bored of all the other islands in this game.
I think these places tend to be forgotten because most likely they do not appear in any main missions. Only some secondary or non-major roles in the game.
Bayside is actually where the Boating School is. If you you're looking for stuff to do there, you can go to the marina and unlock new boats completing the challenges.
For GTA 5 i think you could mention Paleto Bay as well. Beside a few story missions, three stranger missions, hunting and some random events there's nothing really interesting in it
Fun Fact: In the original PS2 version of GTA SA Bayside had a Vagos Territory you could actually takeover and the Vagos would attack. I remember someone saying there was originally supposed to be a story mission there but it was cut from the final game.
I did some side missions in GTA 4 : TLaD that took place in Charge Island. I don't know the English name of those side missions tho, I think it's called Gang Warfare but idk, it's a Mission similar to the Drug Wars in TBoGT, and some of these took place in Charge Island, so I explored that place more than once. I played GTA TLaD after TBoGT and IV, so I discovered few more places, like the Prison, where you also do the last mission "Get Lost". I'd say South Bohan is also underlooked in GTA 4. As far as I remember, few missions take place there or start from there. Therefore, South Bohan is ignored by many compared to the middle island, where the downtown is located.
Since I been playing GTA 4 since 2011, I know every single spot in the entire game, this game deserves more attention for the unique story line, more open interiors, stunning physics, and the fact that the cops in GTA 4 aren’t killing NPC’s for simple misdemeanors like GTA 5.
