ABOUT GOOD GIRLS
When we last saw Beth, she had just shot Rio as he was beating up Agent Turner. Now that he's out of the picture, she's ready to run the game and stay in control. The women take on seemingly innocent jobs - Beth in a stationary store, Ruby in a nail salon and Annie as a valet - each with a special purpose to aid them in their new criminal enterprise. What happens as they expand their operation will have a ripple effect with their families. Meanwhile, Stan's taken a job in security at a strip club and Dean is working sales at a spa company. From Executive Producer Jenna Bans ("Grey's Anatomy," "Scandal") comes the third season of this comedy-infused drama that mixes a little "Thelma & Louise" with a bit of "Breaking Bad." The cast includes Christina Hendricks, Retta, Mae Whitman, Reno Wilson, Manny Montana, Lidya Jewett, Isaiah Stannard and Matthew Lillard.

So can Beth finally divorce Dean? not even because of Rio, just because hes an absolute garbage can of a husband. He drags Beths character down so much and I love Matthew, hes great, but his character isnt and I dont understand why he and Beth are still married ????
lets not forget when he lied about having cancer and broke the metal plate they needed to make the money leading to Rio shooting that girl

Right?! And not only is he a liar but he’s a serial cheater. Cheated on her again even after he got caught the first time. And let’s not forget that car accident he got himself into because he couldn’t keep his eyes off another woman that was jogging in the neighborhood lmao. He’s also a sexist and doesn’t respect his wife. I’m pretty sure he believes her place belongs in the kitchen. Rio on the other hand respects her opinion, thinks she has potential to be something more than just a housewife.
Anyway I hope they’re not keeping them together just because they have kids because that would be so dumb.

I get that they dont want to get rid of Matthew, but having Dean and Beth divorcing doesnt mean he would have to leave the show! He could easily still be around.
It truly makes no sense for her to still be married to Dean. Hes a poor excuse of a husband.
I'm hoping s4 gave us more screentime for rio, we know almost nothing about him after 3 seasons, i feel like he could have a really good plot.

Look, I love Matthew Lillard. He's hilarious and a great actor - but I cannot stand that Beth and Dean are still married. I am a huge Rio/Beth fan but even without that, it is time for Beth to leave Dean. Heck, I'd take Beth with Mick over Beth with Dean. Further, the hitman storyline needs to go. Seriously. If Rio and Beth would just COMMUNICATE with each other - they would make the best partners and run the empire together. Season 2 showed how well they do things when they work together. So can we get back to that dynamic?! Lastly, I think we all can agree that Rio needs more screen time, both by himself and with Beth. Also, I'd love to see him interact/build a friendship with Ruby & Annie as well! Just my two cents, but based on perusing the comments on all the Good Girl posts and videos most fans agree with me.

I dont know a lot of fans of the character that enjoy seeing him so little and basically being bait to get more viewers because at this point hes the most compelling character in the show.

I like how Annie and her therapist aren’t just diving into a relationship I’d rather have them develop from friendship to a relationship because most of Annie’s relationships have been rushed

2. Beth and Dean finally divorce
3. The hitman plotline dies. Unnecessary. They could be partners and all can be gucci but NOOOOO. she just has to stir up ADDITIONAL trouble, fail at going rouge and go crawling back bc she knows that in some ways she still needs him...

This season really has made me uninterested in this show. Everything just feels recycled and predictable. Not to mention the “season finale”. It’s a shame because seasons 1 & 2 were great.
