Actually sleeper class is also quite affordable in India but the issue is those reserved seats like , Sleeper class , chair car , Ac coups and cabins will be filled up months in advance , its because despite the huge railway network in India still the network is not sufficient to meet the demand

Hardly anyone travels such a distance in a general class coach. People mostly travel only for short distances in general class.

Local trains ke general compartmenet are way better then express trains general compartments.
* All trains in India is fitted with bio washrooms. There is no open discharge that's why they sometimes get chocked if someone flush things like chips wrapper and plastic materials.
* Most express and superfast category trains have few general compartment which avails an opportunity to travel at minimum cost. For example the train shown in video covers 3711 km with a fair of just 660 Rs. In India you will get what you will pay. Government is making it available to travel longer distances in a very minimal fare which is a good thing. Government don't make profit from lower classes.
* Based on my personal experience long distance trains have problems of overcrowding while shorter distance trains do not have such problem. The main reason for this is long distance trains are few compared to shorter duration trains. I regularly take general class for short upto 200 300 km distance.
* Railway is called lifeline of nation because it really is available for poorest of poor and connect places which otherwise economically not feasible. Without railways people have to rely upon private bus operators which would be beyond afford of many people. For example if same distance abrar (UA-cam) would have covered it would be 25,000 Rs of just fuel forgot hotels foods etc. I think Indian railways offers cheapest travel option in India.
* there is only 2 general coaches in long-distance trains out of 22 coaches.
There are only 2 general bogies in express trains .
Himsagar express has only two general class bogies other are three tier sleepers, 3 A.C. , 2A.C. etc.
Humare idhar sare train mein 20 se jyada dabe Hota hai ussme se ek luggage ke liye usske bad 2 1st class 4 se 5 2nd class 10 se 12 3rd class ac ke hote hai uss ke bad 5 se 6 sleeper class jis mein ac nhi Hota and uss ke bad 2 general date Hota hai
21:03 railway ka washroom bio wala hota hai magar problem ye hai ki general class me cleaning karna challenge hota because train koi station par 10 mins se kam samay tak rukti hai if agar badi City na ho to so US time period me cleaning karna impossible hai because log uski samay me chhadte uttar te hai aur baaki classes me rush jyada na hone ke karan cleaning work ho jata hai
Main reason for Travel through general coach is fare
And due to this railway always in loss because 50% of passengers in general coach Bcoz some people not able to pay or not want to buy ticket
And in a train general coach varry some train ran with general coaches only whereas some of them with zero general coach or 2 gen coaches
General class coach are not having confirmed tickets. That's why it is always a rush. Number of general coaches are getting reduced, now we can see at most 3 coaches.

Indian railways nowadays decreasing sleeper coaches and increasing 3rd Ac.. there are hardly 2 or 3 sleeper coaches in many trains i used to travel.. nowadays 3rd Ac is like crowded like hell..

It's express and with general compartment It's will be crowded.
General Boggie ek Train me maximum 4 hoti hai. Baaki kam rupees me reserved kar ke travel karne ke liye 12 boggie Sleeper ki hoti hai and Ac ki 8-10 hoti hai.
In India, we have tank below train for collections and maintain ace and cleaning done on request and for that travelers should log complaint on train app or no 190 or 109 . everything is as per system, people are not aware and see the population.
Real situation in general camparment but wash room is not like this.
General boggy bus 2 se 3 hoti hai or ye bus short travel k liye hai .. like I will traval only 2 station so I don't want reservation .. I will just go walking and take ticket from station and traval.

General class is not a good option for long distance traveling..

General compartment is for unreserved passengers. I have not taken this risk anytime in my life.
I think he got the DATA wrong.... less than 80k annually is poor and the EWS category is 3 lakh... so maybe he got it wrong

General means jiska koi seat ka reservation nahi hota
There is no point to travel such a long journey that too in general class
Sir becoz 2nd class mai without pehle se booking wale log rendmly se book karte h jeneral bogi only 1-2 hoti h.sab train mai only 1-2 bogi hoti h.baki non a.c.mai booking kar sakte h usmai itna rush nhi hota h.

This man has showed us the reality which Ashwini Vaishnav Minister of Railway won't show the world, the sorry state of general coach of Indian Railway. India me general compartment ka yeh haal isliye hai kyonki hmare desh me General caste walo ki merit ki value ko reservation ne kha liya hai. General caste education me top par aate hai par population me bohut km or hmare desh k netao ko sif vote bank chahiye , isliye wo kaam krne ki bajaye caste me ladate rehte hai or vote lekar jit jate hain.
