Hopefully he can turn into a pro bowl linemen for us. He'd be the only one besides Williams and if banks can have another year like he did his 2nd year( first year starting) atleast the interior olime can be much improved from last year brendal and mcvitiz just aren't starters there just the best we have at that postion so we're kind of stuck with them.
A pro who does their job is a minimum. A true pro or an all pro consistently plays above that and to the extent above their peers determines how elite one is or may be. It's way too early but I'm liking Puni's trajectory. Go Niners!
Love it. We needed to get a good right side. 49ers need to sign Trent and tell aiyuk your playing on your contact and we are paying Trent. Next year they trade him. And if he tries to say he is hurt or sore they can send him to a doctor's and they can take X-ray and prove if he really hurt 🤕. If he is not hurt they start slapping those fines on him. See if his greedy ass will play or not. A greedo like him will not want to lose money. Lol
While I agree that Puni is a far superior guard than Burford, and should start, I disagree with the critiques of Burford's physicality. IMHO, Burford's biggest problem is a combination of his being a bit more of a raw prospect/slower learner and having to play next to two mediocre tackles in McGlinchey and McKivitz. In Burford's third season, put him at LG next to a HOFer in Trent Willams, or at RT next to Puni and I think he will look much improved.

I won't argue about Shanahan being a choker, but I think Baldy was right about it not being Spencer Burford's fault on that missed block on Chris Jones. While Burford was actually blocking bodies on that play, McKivitz was blocking nothing but air.
