The =CONTAINS( is a great formula to nest inside another formula - learn how in this video
I find your videos very helpful!
Glad you like them!
Is there a way to reverse it. If checked then change column to different wording.... If checked (canceled) then change status column to Canceled
Yes absolutely! The formula then would live in the Status column and instead of using “1” and “0” you would use “Cancelled” and “other status”
When searching to learn something new I try to go first to channels without many subscribers to give them a boost. Once you got to the content it was helpful. I'd advise, however, that 1 1/2 minutes of intro (inclduing repetitive intro telling us multiple times the contains formula will be use but not telling us what it's useful for) is too long. Almost 4 minutes in before telling us what contains formula does or can be used for. Would have engaged me better if you'd opened with 'contains formula is really useful because it can do this and that, or this and that. I'm going to show you a 'beginner's example and a more powerful nested example that will spark your creativity how you can use it to save you time' - 30 seconds. Bam!
Thank you for the feedback I will definitely keep that in mind
