It's actually a series from 2016 on the Discovery Channel. Sadly it is only 3 episodes and at that point it's basically a movie lol. Indeed inspiring though.
In 40+ years of riding, I only rode one Harley-Davidson. It was an 883 Sportster, I don't recall the year model. Honestly, it just wasn't for me. Not quiet & smooth enough for my taste. In contrast, I had a Honda PC800 Pacific Coast which was at the other end of that spectrum - VERY smooth, quiet and LOTS of power. But even though I never was a Harley enthusiast, I really enjoyed watching this and I can very much sympathize with and appreciate the hurdles these long-gone men & women endured in order to realize their dream and vision. And I can totally experience the sheer Americana of it. Long live HD motorcycles! I sold my bikes and totally quit riding about 3-4 years ago because its way more dangerous these days with people being too distracted while driving.
This man did NOT start HD comon .. Bill Harley built it from an old bike Arthur Davidson promoted it Walter Davidson rode it .. so when it all comes down to it .. Bill Harley built the bike.. other 2 where along for the ride
