I just loved how Cinder straight-up M. Bison-ed Jaune. "Who are you again?". Savage A. F. And all compliments to both Miles and Jessica for their voice work here. Everyone's voice work has been up another notch this volume.
"If I die buying them time, then it's worth it! They're the ones that matter..." Not many people I've seen have spent much time on this line, but I would like to bring attention to it.
nothing much to say he know he cant do much so he thinks his purpose is to save the ppl that can actually beat salem, but he wont die until we knows his semblence
That look at the end of the episode... I thought Arryn might actually go to Texas and start killing CRWBY members. The post-episode analysis was great and pretty much summed up what went through my head: Subs: "You OK?" Arryn: "No... I'm angry."
After I watching this episode the again I’m convinced cinder is a bigger coward than lionheart. She taunts and plays with the person least likely to be able to harm her, while having Emerald protect her from Ruby. She’s sadistic, which is why she didn’t burn Jaune the first chance she got. And again with cowardice, she strikes Weiss, who’s aura is depleted, who’s back is turned, who’s fighting the OTHER maiden on the field. And when Jaune actually manages to scratch her, she goes sadistic again. I really hate cinder and I’m hoping that she gets her ass kicked soon.
Mimi Madrox If I was Yang, this is how that little exchange would have gone: "I'm thinking you owe me an apology for my leg." "Will you settle for a matching set?" (Break both his legs)
Not that I'm saying that Yang is opting not to help Ruby but is instead fighting Mercury because of a grudge but... she didn't exactly try very hard to avoid fighting him. I mean, Mercury just kinda... hopped forward? I still don't know exactly what it is that he does at that moment. But whatever he did, it's apparently enough to cause Yang to stop. Now I don't know if it's because of the sloppy camerawork or the inconsistent positions of the characters but I don't believe that alone should've stopped Yang in her tracks. If he had tried to kick her while she was charging or fired a shot at the ground in front of her then sure. But just a little movement? Now I know what you might argue: that Mercury had jumped between Ruby/Emerald and Yang but if that's the case then why do we not see Emerald nor Ruby behind him? Or how come the statue that we *do* see behind him doesn't seem to be any further away? Sorry for the long-winded reply, I've had a lot of grievances with this Volume of RWBY which heavily disappoint me and I'm just glad to be able to air them with fellow fans of the series.
I think the basic of it is that the second he gets in her away and addresses her, Yang knows she can't get to Ruby/Jaune without, at the very least, having Mercury come along too, which might not be helpful at all. Not to say I don't think her grudge didn't play a factor, but there was no way she could ditch Mercury and go to another fight. He went after her, he wasn't going to give up and go attack Ren or Nora.
Crimson Fury because Merc is skilled and bringing him towards the Ruby/Emerald fire and Cinder/Jaune fire would make shit worse. Plus angles within the camera were *different* this episode.
Crimson, I have noticed a few misplacements and weird camera angles myself. When Ozpin was telling RNJR that they need get into fighting shape, a second before that they were in different positions in the room. It was weird, but really very minor compared to this fight scene. So, I agree with you. Just try not to knit-pick too much or you miss the story itself, know what I mean?
“It’s the same, goddamn previous shot.” SYMBOLISM!!! Maybe Emerald will join Neo wherever she is. Wow your speech on Jaune’s emotional struggle and his comparison to Ruby as a leader and finally confronting Cinder, Pyrrha’s murderer really hit me here and the music was quite fitting. And by god you still sound, look and especially laugh just like goddamn Pyrrha herself, and when you get emotional you have a blend of her voice and Blake’s, watch her speech in the previous episode and try telling me after watching this video yourself afterwards that you don’t hear the same. I did think of that myself, but I am not a Reactor. I am very nearly blind and need very powerful prescription spectacles, so I do get the problem. On the other hand, did you see just how Cinder tossed the spear? It was sort of 'meh' as a toss, not any power behind it at all. So, kinda seems she didn't go for a kill, just a maiming like the bitch that she is.
Cinder's go to weapon is fire blast, that does not require much accuracy or penetration. She is very inexperienced using spears, it was surprising she hit her at all actually.
I'm so happy you liked the painting! I was really pleased with how it turned out and I was really hoping you would like it! (it's actually CARE-ah tho, not CAR-ah) And yeah this whole chapter was absolutely a Thanks! I hate it!
This show is case study in the need for breastplates. Phyrra would not have been hit where she was. Blake wouldn't have been stabbed so Yang wouldn't have rushed Adam. Sun wouldn't get stabbed. Sienna may have taken Adam with her. Weiss would also be fine. Ghira seems to have a point.

"They're not a team...not really." Oh snap, you are absolutely right. They were together, but they didn't fight like a team, they all fought separately which put them into chaos, they let their emotions, grudges, and pain separate them from one another. #MindBlown
After all your reactions to Ilia, all I wanted to do was give you a hug until both of you mean it when you say you're fine. Guess I can add Weiss to that list now^^ Good to see you found a healthy coping mechanism in imagining just character arcs matching their karma for those who deserve them (you just sounded so much like Glados in the end that I wanted to give you some cake as a treat XD)
I guess you could say cinder was too hot to handle......what did that pun get you fired up? Man I've got a real hot streak going now don't I? Well I'm feeling pretty burned out gotta go think up some more puns of damage............................I'm not sorry.
Your "monologue" after the end of the episoded sounded like something Blake could have said straight in the show. Jesus, go meet the RT guys and get into this show as a voiceactress already.
Cinder isn't regretting anything though. She wanted power - she wanted to be feared. She's with Salem because that's how she will obtain these things. The was surprised by Tyrian back in volume 4, sure, but judging how she's been this volume and before, it's painfully clear that she isn't regretting anything. Not with that smug expression on her face. You should also know that it's Kerry that apparently has something against girls with ponytails.
theycallmebad she was regretting the choices that led to her failing her mission, like not killing Ozpin before Amber or not finishing off Pyrrha instead of toying with her for the length of their fight. She is a cold calculating schemer, her plan failing was a crushing blow to her over-inflated ego.
"she was regretting the choices that led to her failing her mission, like not killing Ozpin before Amber or not finishing off Pyrrha instead of toying with her for the length of their fight. " When exactly was this established?
Jaune was MVP this episode for me. Miles absolutely killed it with his performance this episode and his interaction with Cinder was a treat. It was so brutal when Cinder had to ask Jaune who he was after his breakdown, his reaction was great. That touch of the chain moving from the "shockwave" of Jaune's initial attack was beautiful and shows just how strong both Jaune and Cinder have become
Whoa your face at the end of the episode, you looked ready to fly over to Rooster Teeth and bust some heads. Not that i blame you i nearly punched my laptop when they left us with that cliffhanger.
They used to fight strategically as a team, combining their abilities to protect each other and win, but now they're fighting multiple single battles. While that may be true for most of them, notice that Ren and Nora are still fighting as a team, even taking on the same opponent together.
Two Parts That Killed Me: ''Are your fists also guns?'' [Qrow attacks Raven] PoD: UUUU ''We're not family anymore.'' PoD: UUUUU ''Were we ever?'' PoD: UUUUUU ''I thought so. But I guess I was wrong.'' PoD: UUUUUU-
When Cinder said to Jaun that he is the dense one who doesn't know when he is out of his league, I wonder if she is talking about his fights or his love attempts with Weiss and Phyrra. If it's the latter than she just struck down both of Jaun's early on love interests
your verbal savagery and smile about Adam and Cinder was terrifying when combined together, which made me do a combination of back away, laugh and smile on joy and fear, which I was kinda fun....so...um...thanks for that. :)
Well Arryn, if you think about it, Jaune acts upon his emotions like this and builds his base on these emotions, is because he never got closure about pyrha. Even though he didn't experience it, it's still a death to someone that he held close and dear, and he holds resentment for not saying more or doing more to develop their relationship. It's a battle in his own mind. Jaune is getting a lot of flak for reacting this way but i find it very refreshing and somewhat emotional for me, because it hits a string in my heart from an own personal experience.
(A.) when you're upset you sound like Blake. (B.) you laugh like Pyrah. (C.) is it a mask, Or does Ruby have a petrifying stare? Capable of freezing a giant Grimm and turning part of someone to stone. I'll just leave you to your thoughts.
Also, They're kids still, at least teenagers, they don't have much real world experience like this, so he's gonna give into his emotions, and like rin said "We learn from our mistakes" So if jaune was calm and calculating it'd be very meta.
What if its not rage that will trigger his semblance? Semblances seem to have a common theme; something relating to the semblance triggers it. With Nora she was struck by lightning (Not 100% confirmed as it was Nora who said it), Ren by extreme emotions and Ruby during a training exercise to avoid a hit by Yang (She had to be faster to evade). All of them have a common thing that relates to the semblance that triggers its activation, so my point is why would Jaunes presumed healing power be triggered by rage? I say his wont activate until he comes to term with himself and the scars he has. He must get over his confidence issues caused by his family not believing in him, he must forgive himself that he wasn't able to save Pyrrah, and he must control his pure hatred for Cinder. I believe that he must heal his scars for his power to activate. Edit: Wrote it better to convey what I meant Also side note I think Cinder lost her arm and now has a Grim arm, which is why the Silver Eyes worked on her.
Childish Soldier might have nicked her liver as well, also there might not be a whole lot of internal bleeding due to the fact that the weapon was super heated
They framed that shot that way for a reason, I keep telling people. Plus remember, Blake's been stabbed (Adam), Yang lost her arm (also Adam); the Weiss and Ruby were the only ones left who haven't been seriously wounded by an enemy yet. FNDM will really freak if Ruby ever gets seriously wounded.
How can someone who seems so sweet and energetic be so vicious, I mean I hate Cinder and Adam, but DAMN! That is nothing that I want to happen to them, nice reactions again
Of all the RWBY ch11 reactions I've seen yours is truly unique and powerful. This is the reaction I want to see original, emotional and most importantly real. Many youtubers who do RWBY reaction videos have a RT first membership and they see the episode the first time on the RT site. So when they do their reaction video because the episode was release on YT it's really the second time they're seeing the episode. Their reactions aren't that real because they already know what's going to happen. I admire you because you decided to watch the episode for the first time when it was released on YT. That's why I love your reaction and though you didn't cry (but I'm pretty sure you did after turning off the camera lol) your expression was enough to hit me in the feels. The look in your eyes after the episode ended said A LOT. It was a mixture of shock, confusion, sorrow, hurt I love it. Heck your reaction made me shed tears damn it. I decided I'm decided I'm going to watch the rest of your reaction videos and guess what I subscribed to you. Keep up the great work and I'll be looking forward to your ch12 reaction.
just revisiting these reactions here in March of 2021. and the most nostalgic part of the whole thing was when you said "avoid it like the plague". Ha Ha Ha! You remember those days? When we were naïve enough to think people would actually AVOID a plague? HAHAHA Oh good times good times.
Your sad face is way too devastated to enjoy watching you suffer my torment :) But there is no way on earth or Remnant Weiss is dead. None. This was kinda cheap to be honest, they even show that it's not a direct hit, it's nothing but a cliffhanger. My guess is we will see Blake arrive next week, and my mini theory is we will see Jaune discover his vast healing semblance next week too.
Watching this episode, so many people took comfort in the fact that the spear was not centerline on Weiss-- but other folks have pointed out that that location is pretty much where your liver is, and getting stabbed or shot there is an invitation to bleeding out pretty quickly. A nice touch.
Next chapter is the first episode of the follow up series RBY! If she does pull through Weiss needs to realize even though she can summon she can't rely too much on it. Also, she should use the boar grimm as a distraction / flank set up as she has been shown twice so far to summon it instantly and without noticeable effort.
So many people are hating on Adam but I'm really interested in him. there is so much potential with him as to what happened to him and why he is the way he is.
I hope you’re okay Arryn. I remember you talking about how much you identify with this story and the characters in it and I think I feel that way about you, I guess in the sense that I think of you, your reactions, and commentary on this series as a staple of the series now. I think a lot of your viewers feel that way. I’ve been dealing with depression a lot, for a lot of the same reasons I’ve heard you talking about periodically. It may sound cheesy, but I really think I’m not alone in saying that your continual perseverance in the face of these problems that so many young people face these days has done for a lot of your viewers what you so often talked about the series itself doing for you. Your popularity has even made you a significant target for a lot of the bullying tactics UA-cam has resorted to recently. Still, despite all of that, you’ve persevered. It’s admirable, and even inspiring, truly. I know I’m not the only one of your fans who feels this way. So, just thank you, truly. At least to me, and I’m sure to so many others, it was worth it.
I was totally different at the end of seeing this episode. I went straight to denial, hands over mouth, repeating No! over and over. Then silence. Then tears. I wouldn't put it beyond possibility that Weiss will die. RWBY loves to break trope when it suits for emotional impact. However, I'm with you on thinking something will happen to save her. I have my theories, like everyone. A few things I noticed in this Chapter. In Weiss' fight scenes, she's not just on defense, she's off balance. She was stumbling while on her glyphs because as soon as she'd get to one, she'd need to dodge Vernal's weapons or shots. Raven told her not to use her power, so I think it was showing just how good Vernal is. Maybe she could see where Weiss was casting glyphs and anticipate where she would go next. Also, Weiss is still new at summoning, but we know it can be done on the fly when we see Winter fight Qrow. She's going to have to learn to summon faster in a fight. If she lives. Just before Cinder throws Jaune back for the first time, you can see her arm wavering with effort and an intense look on her face. I don't know if it means anything, but I thought it interesting. And Jaune wasn't messing around. He went for a kill shot. He has no intention of letting Cinder live. I'm sure he and Ruby discussed what she remembered from the top of Beacon Tower, so I'm thinking he probably knows more about the situation than may be apparent. There's definitely animosity from Raven toward Summer. Ruby is usually good at getting people to see the good in themselves, but Raven acted like she'd heard it all before and was still sick of it. It was almost like it was her deciding factor in opening the portal and letting Cinder through. Lionheart had to convince himself that he would be fighting a child before he had the courage to fight back. So, he only shows bravery when he believes the odds are overwhelmingly in his favor. I don't know if they'll ever do a redemption arc with him, but I don't know if I'll accept any sacrifice as atonement. Nothing can make up for his betrayal. He let Cinder into the Vytal Festival for Salem. He was already working for her before that. He sent dozens of Huntsmen to their deaths, fully knowing what would happen to them and the wider Mistral area without their protection. He is a traitor to the people he was duty bound to protect, all to save himself. The perfect embodiment of a Cowardly Lion. I love his character. He has to die in a ditch. Right next to Cinder. Cinder seems to be leaning in a slightly more Pyrrha direction for the base of her summoned weapons. The spear she summoned was Pyrrha's weapon before changing. I'm wondering if a small portion of Pyrrha is somewhere inside Cinder. Pyrrha was connected to the Maiden power for a brief moment. Maybe a residue of her aura was mixed with Amber's, and was pulled into Cinder at the moment Amber died. Or it could be that she just likes remembering killing Pyrrha, because Cinder is probably that evil. Other stuff, but this has gone on too long, anyway. Thanks for reading!
It's Cinder attacking Juane's two love intrest "the dunce that doesn't know he is out of his league" for love n at the time fights, using one love intrest(on top of the one she also killed) to attack another love intrest of his which is an extra knife twist
Wow. I've seen you happy, sad, worried, and excited but this is the first time I can remember seeing you really angry. Keep strong girl, this fight is not over yet
*after Cinders brutally wounds Weiss* Weiss: Wow, and I thought only Jaune wanted to impale me. Ruby: Weiss, this isn't the time for jokes! Weiss: Ruby just *chill* out. Ruby: WEISS!!!
can we just take a moment to admire how brave Oscar is right now. this is his first real fight. and it's against all the powerful enemies. and yet he walks up to the head teacher of a school literally made to train fighters, with the meanest face he can make to intimidate said head teacher. WITHOUT ozpin needing to take control.
Did anyone notice in the moments before the impalement of Weiss when it cycles through the other characters it shows a different perspective of the opening fight montage?
Welcome back! I've been looking forward to this. Yeah sounds mean, but since if seen chapter 12 around... five times fully, my own anxiety level is back to a manageable level. And I am looking forward to THAT reaction. Oh boy.
My most wonderful friend, please remind me to NEVER EVER piss you off. Because when you get angry you get scary. ^_^ I applaud you, that was a most enjoyable moment to watch but I will have to admit I was backing against the sofa while watching and going "I so do not want to ever get this lady angry at me." ^_^
I just loved how Cinder straight-up M. Bison-ed Jaune. "Who are you again?". Savage A. F.
And all compliments to both Miles and Jessica for their voice work here. Everyone's voice work has been up another notch this volume.
Charlie Tango Yeah, its really well done! Made alot of reactors responded immediately, which was fun to see. T'was beautiful.
"If I die buying them time, then it's worth it! They're the ones that matter..."
Not many people I've seen have spent much time on this line, but I would like to bring attention to it.
nothing much to say he know he cant do much so he thinks his purpose is to save the ppl that can actually beat salem, but he wont die until we knows his semblence
Which we already do
YES! She's back up! (This was by far the most important reaction vid of my week.)
Jesse Heindl FACTS. i was waiting so long ;-; but its here so im happy now XD
I was waiting for her's especially xD
That look at the end of the episode... I thought Arryn might actually go to Texas and start killing CRWBY members. The post-episode analysis was great and pretty much summed up what went through my head:
Subs: "You OK?"
Arryn: "No... I'm angry."
Dreznin Nah, she wouldn't kill them. Just hold them all hostage until they fix everything.
I see what you did there at the end.
Good one at the end
Dreznin I'm gonna start a petition for me to go to Texas and punch Miles in the dick.
Anyone who signs can come too.
Palpatine: good, good let the hate flow through you. Release your anger.
DANGIT! I wanted to quote Palpatine on this! xD
Maik Bossert Then...
Do it.
Sorry Palpatine but hatred always fades away when compared to bonds with ur friends and comrades..... But seriously Juane snap out of it quick
Well this is a coincidence. I'm currently writing a RWBY AU fanfic set in the Star Wars universe.
SirJedi Sentinel Are you posting this somewhere because I am beyond interested
24:44 "I honestly really don't have much else to say." *video ends 15 minutes after saying that*
Yeah, that's pretty typical lol
😂😂😂

By which I mean cinder as a person. As a character and villain she’s awesome, but as a person I HATE this sadistic coward.
Sorry I just have A LOT OF FEELS.
You might get your wish soon enough
Naaaaah pls i hope she lasts for a long timee its the best character by far
torgpc right she has to at least make it to the final season.
Adam: i'm the most hated in the show.
Cinder: hold my spear.
side note chapter 6 they are changing the shows name to RBY.
Reep 22 *Volume 6 and no
For me, it's a tossup between Cinder and Raven. I get where Raven is coming from, but I'm not going to forget all the deaths she's responsible for.
DAMN!!! BURN!!!
NO
Hey, Reep, too soon.
"I think you owe her an apology for existing." SAVAGE
Mimi Madrox If I was Yang, this is how that little exchange would have gone:
"I'm thinking you owe me an apology for my leg."
"Will you settle for a matching set?" (Break both his legs)
Thunderspear, Nora would approve. :)
Savage XD
Yang didn't actually go on a grudge to fight. She was going to either help Ruby or Jaune, but Mercury got in the way.
Not that I'm saying that Yang is opting not to help Ruby but is instead fighting Mercury because of a grudge but... she didn't exactly try very hard to avoid fighting him. Yea, as we know mercury is pretty fast, so yang ignoring him would be more of a problem then not.
Crimson Fury because Merc is skilled and bringing him towards the Ruby/Emerald fire and Cinder/Jaune fire would make shit worse. Plus angles within the camera were *different* this episode.

"Who are you again? Felipe, wasn't it?"
"My name is Jaune Arc. You killed The Great One. Prepare to die."
SO WELL DONE! YES!!!
The great one?.....that girl.....ehh....PENNY? right?
Please tell me you are joking.
James Curfman I honestly have no clue of who your talking about
@@thegreatsaiyaman1126 It's a chibi joke.
To answer your question Arryn, it's because Kerry Shawcross hates ponytails.
“It’s the same, goddamn previous shot.”
SYMBOLISM!!!

You have a very eloquent and lovely sounding voice I think you can make a career out of it especially when you get passionate.
Food for thought.
Mike I actually am inclined to agree. Arryn would be AMAZING as a Voice Actress. But yeah. I love this and I've missed her A LOT!
Mike, you are SO RIGHT!
She does sound like a Phyrra and Blake when she get emotional, which is freaking amazing.
"Did you really think you stood a chance against me? You?!"
He did almost put a sword through your face, so yeah, I kinda did.
Yup. If Jaunny boy had just been two inches further over, that blade would have bisected Cinder's skull and we'd have a new Fall Maiden in Haven.
As soon as I saw him stab like that, I just heard Pyrrha's words, and it hurt so bad.
"Your stance is all wrong."
@Thunderspear 22, yea it hurt, but jaune is obviously not thinking straight, give him slack.
But lets point out the power behind Jaune's first swing, it shook the chains.
Zack Rose I know he isn't the most experienced, and I'm not knocking him for it. As soon as I saw it, I knew his stance would throw him off balance if he missed, and I remembered Pyrrha's words. The words were what hurt...
Cinder got to know Jaune better by breaking the ice.
(FACEPALM)
Matthew Wu hummmmm, too soon ?
Naaaah. XD
I just dropped my phone on my face trying to like this
Midori the pain was worth it I assume?
Damn it Barb!
THANK YOU!
You are the first person I've seen/heard/read who immediately thought of Cinder's sub-par depth perception due to missing one eye. Everyone else concluded she only wanted to mess with them and that's why she didn't lethally wound Weiss. I mean... maybe she did, but the depth perception is definitely an issue here.
I have to agree, I have problems with my left eye and as I get older my depth perception gets worse so I can see where you're coming from with that.
Cinder's go to weapon is fire blast, that does not require much accuracy or penetration. She is very inexperienced using spears, it was surprising she hit her at all actually.
"I think you owe her an apology for existing" OH DAMNNN
Puns of Damage? more like Puns of Mental Scarring, amirite?
Wow she went full Anakin Skywalker on this analysis
I'm so happy you liked the painting! I was really pleased with how it turned out and I was really hoping you would like it! (it's actually CARE-ah tho, not CAR-ah) And yeah this whole chapter was absolutely a Thanks! I hate it!
This show is case study in the need for breastplates. Phyrra would not have been hit where she was. Blake wouldn't have been stabbed so Yang wouldn't have rushed Adam. Sun wouldn't get stabbed. Sienna may have taken Adam with her. Weiss would also be fine. Ghira seems to have a point.
Ghira also wears relatively piecemeal armor.
Ethan Moore but Pyrrha Fanservice 😦
A Breast Plate is just that. Weiss still would have taken a spear through her back, because Cinder is still a back-stabbing coward. If ALL this damage was to be mitigated, then ALL the characters will be forced to wear armor nearly identical to Cardin's. Not everyone is conditioned for heavy armor, especially not tiny little Weiss. Blake and Ren wouldn't be Ninja if they wore Heavy Plate. Besides, with all that going on, there would be much less story development than there has been up to now.
Jaune's armor didn't seem to help much when Cinder's whole 110 lbs was pushing down on it, forcing out his breath, and pinning him to the ground. Seriously, the armor should have distributed her entire weight and Jaune is easilly strong enough to push her off. You can't push down with more force than your full weight when not braced against something, no matter how strong you are.

16:46 - This is the face of someone who is thinking "This is NOT the time for a cliffhanger!!!"
After all your reactions to Ilia, all I wanted to do was give you a hug until both of you mean it when you say you're fine. Guess I can add Weiss to that list now^^
Good to see you found a healthy coping mechanism in imagining just character arcs matching their karma for those who deserve them (you just sounded so much like Glados in the end that I wanted to give you some cake as a treat XD)
DeerInTheLimelight this was a triumph. I'm making a note here, huge success. It's hard to overstate my satisfaction. Lol Arryn does the best stuff.
Well, you know, the triumpf will be ours ;) And yes, her reactions are definitely worth waiting for to be unblocked^^
"I'm just going to get angry now"- The entirety of the FNDM
My god, your little list had me terrified, you legitimately sounded like Dr Grey from the chorus trilogy of RvB
I guess you could say cinder was too hot to handle......what did that pun get you fired up? Man I've got a real hot streak going now don't I? Well I'm feeling pretty burned out gotta go think up some more puns of damage............................I'm not sorry.
God dammit Jaron.
... I’m an odd mix of proud and disappointed.
Carlo Galbiati I'm the damn same. I'm so proud to find someone that's Punny as much as I can be. But yeah, dude. No. God damnit.
Carlo Galbiati I think the word you're looking for is "disaprouded" !
skyknight0408 thank you for that, I’m definitely going to use this now
Trust me Arryn, next episode suprasses this one.
I AM!!!
xedgeforeverx You sir are genius.
I can't wait til next saturday when everyone gets to react to that.
Your "monologue" after the end of the episoded sounded like something Blake could have said straight in the show.
Jesus, go meet the RT guys and get into this show as a voiceactress already.
I'd rather not see her in this show considering what they do with VAs now.
That speech you did at 19:37 damn that was powerful
*shuffling feet away slowly* ...minimum safe distance from angry lady
A continent or two should be safe, right? *looks around uncertainly, shuffles further away*
Mirality maybe another planet in a different galaxy
Jaune was MVP this episode for me. Miles absolutely killed it with his performance this episode and his interaction with Cinder was a treat. It was so brutal when Cinder had to ask Jaune who he was after his breakdown, his reaction was great. That touch of the chain moving from the "shockwave" of Jaune's initial attack was beautiful and shows just how strong both Jaune and Cinder have become
Well, Jaune was an idiot. Never attack in anger. It's what she wanted him to do, after all. Sadistic bitch. Nigri plays her WAY too well. :)
8:42 "Good luck with that"
You say that like he could have good luck lol
Whoa your face at the end of the episode, you looked ready to fly over to Rooster Teeth and bust some heads. Not that i blame you i nearly punched my laptop when they left us with that cliffhanger.
They used to fight strategically as a team, combining their abilities to protect each other and win, but now they're fighting multiple single battles.
While that may be true for most of them, notice that Ren and Nora are still fighting as a team, even taking on the same opponent together.
Two Parts That Killed Me:
''Are your fists also guns?''
[Qrow attacks Raven]
PoD: UUUU
''We're not family anymore.''
PoD: UUUUU
''Were we ever?''
PoD: UUUUUU
''I thought so. But I guess I was wrong.''
PoD: UUUUUU-
Man, that look you had at 16:47. Scary. I would really not like it if your were really angry at us.
Arryn you definitely needed a hug after this episode and probably a punching bag
"Are your fists also guns?"
Me: "No, but did you look at those guns on his arms? *high-fives Yangs*
"I'm thinkin' RBY's." -- Cinder, probably
Unless aura heals in a way to prevent scaring Weiss is going to have to miss bikini season
The after episode discussion was gold! 👌👌👌
Nigri owned this episode. Every word cut every comment...killed.
32:35 to 33:33 WHO ELSE STARTED LAUGHING IN AGREEMENT?
I think it's safe to say a LOT of us do!
I really hope that Juane snaps out of it soon otherwise he might not be able to protect his friends
The music and the speech was perfect during her discussion😂😂
Damn, channeled your inner Dr. Grey talking about Adam. 😂
Oh my God! You look so pissed!
My girl with that 'fuck everything that is bad in the world to precious Weiss' stare at the end of the video.
Got chills!
Oh boy, Arryn is gonna have war flashbacks with this....
But, in the words of Akihiko: "i've been waiting for this!"
Edit: Wrote it better to convey what I meant
Also side note I think Cinder lost her arm and now has a Grim arm, which is why the Silver Eyes worked on her.
Jericho Strayker no to one of your points the other was spot on.
I mean it has to be the Grimm, after all the Spring Maiden was uneffected.
I don't think it was the feeling of Rage that triggered it, it was desperation... The desperation not to lose another freind
i didnt even catch that they were in the same position... RT you're lucky Chapter 12 was amazing.
She played him like A GOD. DAMNED. FIDDLE!!!
Let's be honest people, Weiss's kidney got fucked up with some internal bleeding but she'll.. definitely maybe live to see another day
Childish Soldier might have nicked her liver as well, also there might not be a whole lot of internal bleeding due to the fact that the weapon was super heated
I agree it’s her kidneys, and liver, maybe intestines because it was diagonal but she has to live!! WHITE ROSE WILL LIVE ON!!!!
@Paula Ronald, I think the biggest injury they could do to Ruby is the loss of sight. Or at least the loss of one eye.
blackvial Cauterization of a hole in your body and internal organs does not fix problems, it causes MORE. Lol
How can someone who seems so sweet and energetic be so vicious, I mean I hate Cinder and Adam, but DAMN! That is nothing that I want to happen to them, nice reactions again
*instantly turns volume down in fear of Arryn screaming and flipping her shit*
“I think you owe her an apology for existing.”
DAMN!!!!!
Why didn't I find this channel earlier. YOU'RE AWESOME!
And kudos to you for the Mercury apology joke.
Whose in agreement if Weiss dies we Riot?
just revisiting these reactions here in March of 2021. and the most nostalgic part of the whole thing was when you said "avoid it like the plague".
That was not her sad face. That was her ROYALLY PISSED OFF face.
16:14 I loooooooooooooooooooooove MURDER. >:D
This just in: Jaunes emotions gets our waifus killed.....spread the word
*dies inside*
What Did He Say
Puns of damage? More like sass of damage. In the words of Flynt Coal "I dig it".
8:35 Jaune's First Bad Word LOL
Watching this episode, so many people took comfort in the fact that the spear was not centerline on Weiss-- but other folks have pointed out that that location is pretty much where your liver is, and getting stabbed or shot there is an invitation to bleeding out pretty quickly. A nice touch.
Next chapter is the first episode of the follow up series RBY!
If she does pull through Weiss needs to realize even though she can summon she can't rely too much on it. Also, she should use the boar grimm as a distraction / flank set up as she has been shown twice so far to summon it instantly and without noticeable effort.
A cane is actually quite an effective weapon, one of the things you can study in HEMA is cane and greatstick fighting.
be me
sees arryn's reaction to the newest rwby ep is up
"please don't be blocked."
it's blocked
"I HATE THIS GAME OF EMOTIONS WE PLAY!" *sobs*
Welcome to the party of I'm sick of Cinder 2018.
So many people are hating on Adam but I'm really interested in him. there is so much potential with him as to what happened to him and why he is the way he is.
nanahc so Most people are interested in him. He's just a shit guy.
My heart breaks whenever you say "It's the same pose!" Perfect reaction.
Great video as always. You made some interesting points in your wrap up. Now I must go think some more. Thanks
Yeah, Merry fucking Christmas RT
why does the ending part of talking sound so poetic?! its great!!
NO SPOILERS: I just saw episode 12 and it's so fucking awesome.
Cos its the anime mother haircut and they shall suffer.
Puns: it's okay... It wasn't a direct hit!
Me: she's straight up impaled!
*after Cinders brutally wounds Weiss*
Weiss: Wow, and I thought only Jaune wanted to impale me.
Ruby: Weiss, this isn't the time for jokes!
Weiss: Ruby just *chill* out.
Ruby: WEISS!!!
LOLZ
can we just take a moment to admire how brave Oscar is right now. this is his first real fight. and it's against all the powerful enemies. and yet he walks up to the head teacher of a school literally made to train fighters, with the meanest face he can make to intimidate said head teacher. WITHOUT ozpin needing to take control.
"Are your fists also guns?" 😂 Same
Did anyone notice in the moments before the impalement of Weiss when it cycles through the other characters it shows a different perspective of the opening fight montage?
Yep, noticed that right away. :)
Welcome back! I've been looking forward to this.
Yeah sounds mean, but since if seen chapter 12 around... five times fully, my own anxiety level is back to a manageable level.
And I am looking forward to THAT reaction. Oh boy.
You held it together a lot better than any of the other reactors I've seen. Lol
What makes this chapter scary though is that we know rooster teeth is not afraid to kill of characters
It's the utter emotional pain from reactions like this that fuel me as a person. Thank you, truly.
My most wonderful friend, please remind me to NEVER EVER piss you off. Because when you get angry you get scary. ^_^ I applaud you, that was a most enjoyable moment to watch but I will have to admit I was backing against the sofa while watching and going "I so do not want to ever get this lady angry at me." ^_^
The way I described it was everyone rolled Initiative and were waiting for their turn to act. ^^;; I swear it was like Pathfinder or D&D! ^_^
The anger is strong with this one
My reaction to how you want them to suffer. jesus you need to go to therapy but I still agree😂😂😂
I can't wait for you to see the next episode of RBY!
Seriously though, this episode was painful, and Cinder needs some comeuppance already.
about the off-target thing...I figure that was intended. a quick death would be fuel for the enemy. a dying friend, however, is a serious distraction.
I liked your analysis. Very deep the Jaune part.
Well, I liked your video as a whole! I'll see you in the next reacton!
