I still didn't unlock Super Sonic even if I tried 10+ times.
At least I beat the game twice!
I am tired to play that so now I am playing Sonic R.
Edit: I beat it 4 times!!! Also I tried 20+ times and I did the last two in a row (I restarted it immediatly after the 3rd win)
I also unlocked Super Sonic but don't know how to use him...
Now yes I am actually tired for real to play it today so I'll play it again tomorrow

Also I'm happy to finally play Sonic The Fighters and Sonic R since as a kid I always wanted to play them.
I also am happy to have CD on my TV but I care less for it since I already have it on tablet.
The ironic thing is that the Console ver is actually the PC ver. And on the tablet (which is a portable PC) it has the Sega CD ver 😂
So if your using xbox 360 you use RB and move the joystick left anf instead of transforming into hyper mode not to mistake it with hyper sonic you turn into super sonic or you can check the controls list wich button also counts as both block and attack or you press block and attack at the same time then hyper mode after metal sonic if you didnt lose one round not get defeated once then yeah it works

Also now I don't remember the controls and it's been a while since I played it last time.
I think I managed to beat round one without losing but since I didn't turn Super Sonic on, I lost him ☹️

I'm not sure. A few old sonic games had different numbers of emeralds, some games only had 6

if you do everything correctly do you still have to activate super sonic on round 2 of metal or do you keep it regardless?
I think it’s only active in metal round 2
@@tymartin1955 yeah it is only on metal round 2 even if you beat eggman and get the good ending you cant use it again
i see that there's a difference with the arcade version and the remastered version for PS3 and is that i think in the arcade version you will need to beat every single character (even in the most hardest one) to get super sonic and i think you need to make a k.o perfect with metal sonic too in the arcade version but maybe is because sometimes i do a k.o perfect with a character and then i just get a k.o

thanks so much metal sonic fucks me up all the time in this game he has long range attacks that you couldn't even dream of predicting hurts like 2 tons of bricks the metal sonic fight isn't fun at all its just STRESSFUL

Yeah it’s really difficult. I changed the settings to make it easier for myself

How do you sidestep in the game? I kept doing it by accident, but I never figured it out
Punch+Kick+Barrier at the same time or RB/R1 (or Z on Gamecube). You can also recover in the air by doing this as well (but it's risky)

If you lose the first star do you have to start again
Yeah, unfortunately if you lose 1 round you have to start over. it can be really annoying!!

I don't even think PS4 has a version of Sonic the Fighters. If it does, it's the exact same way.
