i get many values on new shims for an example: new shim is gonna be 2.705 because my old was 2.675 and the measured clearance is around 0.18mm. so should i just get a 2.70 and have 0.005mm to big clearance rather than too small?
Sorry to be a pain. I've been looking at doing the measurements on mine and am I right in saying I lift the cam cover. Put engine to tdc then with a feeler gauge I measure what clearence I have by putting it in until it just fits then take that measurement and minus it - by the specified shim size as stated in the owners manual. And then plus + the measurement of the shim I have just removed and = equals that all together to get the size I need? Thank you
great video!! thank you very much
Thanks for the feedback!

Yes, if it is that close I would go with the 2.70
