The South African Police NEED a Few Drones to Monitor this Type of Activity

    • @ginger0208

Funny how you mention that, because they have drones, qualified operators and licenses, but the people voted against the use of drones "invasion of privacy" and the constitutional Court ruled with the public. It was first supposed to be used in the gang areas in Cape Town.
Then the people complain that there isn't any proactive policing...really? SAPS try and be proactive and then it's "you can't assume I'm a criminal, you can't do random searches, you can't have drone ect" so I honestly don't know what people want from SAPS anymore. The SAPS are like someone whose reflexes are out of place in that the person gets slapped by another whilst talking to others and doesn't react to the slap immediately by touching his/her face (if that's possible). Instead the person weirdly remembers to react after 10 minutes after the incident.
My point is that the SAPS's tactics are reactive as opposed to proactive. In simple terms, they wait for trouble to ferment before reacting instead of taking pre-emptive action when they have the opportunity. The so-called Zama Zama problem is not a new one to Gauteng and yet it seems to be taking more brazen and sinister dimensions lately as recently happened in Krugersdorp.

Mandela has EVERYTHINGNto do with what has happened to south africa. You must be uneducated. Please research the below, then open your mouth... Mr Mandela was sentenced to life in jail due to his 156 terrorist crimes. MR Mandela ADMITTED to all 156 terrorists crimes which included putting bombs on trains with woman and children. During Mr Mandelas first years in power, he legalised pornography, he legalised abortion. The rand dropoed by 80% and crime increased by 70%....these are all facts.... He also freed other people from jail that were convicted of major crimes. He then passed the keys to south africa over to them. 28 years later the country is now "JUNK STATUS".... Mr Mandela was the beginning to and end.ding
