I've been trying to figure out how to combo with Raging Luna Storm, and you reminded me of jump/dash cancel. Judith has lots of artes that send her flying past enemies, but now I realise that I can just dash back :p

@@jrpeegy8294 all of those limiting skills like half damage and one damage are for the sake of testing out combos to see what connects without risking killing the monster, and for grinding things like grade
Its been a long since I played Vesperia, but I dont remember any special requirement to cancel luna gale, you just have to hold the stick up if youre playing on Manual or tap the stick up and block if your playing on semiautomatic to cancel the arte.
If this is your first time playing tales series then it will be hard for you. But still practice makes perfect combos just be aware of your skills that was on or active so you can initiate continues combos
I think these combos can be done by the end of the game without need for new game plus. I haven't started a new game plus yet but when I do combos it usually doesn't take more than a quarter of your max TP to do it. But I agree, you do need to have a lot of artes and skills unlocked as well as be a high level or have risky ring.

It’s a skill called stand alone which each character has, only obtainable for characters you’ve beaten the 200 man Melee with

yo. after luna gale, how are you jumping? I've tried putting on jump cancel, extra jump, and recovery artes but none of it's working?

All these fancy combo videos only work in new game plus. You'd be out of TP halfway finished with the combo and the enemy would still be alive
