"Tomorrow the Green Grass" and "Rainy Day Music" may be the greatest pair of albums done by a single band....as a pair they tell you everything you need to know about rock/country/alt/Americana. A pair of little known masterpieces...incredible music in a narrowly artistic genre.
Yes, this reminds me of the good old days of FleetwoodMac, the era when Bob Welch was with them - They kicked out one great album after another ... FIVE of them in ONLY 3 & a half years back in the early 70's! Every one of the five are awesome & still relatively unknown to this day, even by the FMac fans that jumped on board for the band's more modern incarnation in 1975. Look 'em up, they're all somewhere on UA-cam.
In some twisted fashion it seems good they are not a household word....sort of like a well-kept secret or buried treasure not to be shared with the masses. Only to be shared in private with others who "get it".

Beautiful Song!
the intro? Excellent. The outro? Fantastic. As underrated as the band.
Hollywood Town Hall used to be my favorite album, but this one is growing on me.
I love this somg, unappreciated band
Agreed, cool somg!
✌😎
What an incredibly underrated, talented band! Such wonderful harmonies...they remind me of a cross between REM and Fleetwood Mac..
I definitely hear that.

REM and The Jayhawks were influenced by Long Ryders as well.

I agree
I am sure the band if they had their way would not want it like this and they had a fat account
it's not all about money :)
those piano embellishments
i Love this band!!!
Love for humanity
Great song
Great Band!Great Tune...
Milan Vasiljevic here here....!
They were amazing live in St. Louis!
I'd put Hollywood Town Hall in there, too, but what a great band in general. Can't wait to go see them this October!
Thanks for uploading!
Sublime
Brilliant comment. So true on all counts.
Tonight in Belfast, The Jayhawks.... :-)
How fair is it that Beiber considers himself an "artist" while the Jayhawks languish in semi obscurity , think ill go and have a cry (kidding)
I love this song
@MilanVasiljevicBGD Yes, the Jayhawks had a gift to create gorgeous melodies!
post Malone
Not even comparable dude, two totally different times and genres of music.
