I think in guided Access when you receive a notification it turns on automatically so you can get Home Assistant to send you a notification motion is detected? Haven’t tried it myself though.
You missed a chunk of information; whats a, Home Assistant server and how are they found, added etc.. It's great when you know but for the novice looking at this for the first time it's a stumbling block! Shame.
I do have a playlist on Home Assistant: ua-cam.com/play/PLErU2HjQZ_ZNl8X6P0wAM33bnhd7m2PM6.html I'm not sure any are great for an absolute beginner but I do have one on setting it up on an spare PC: ua-cam.com/video/szxsypKKpZs/v-deo.html
Is it possible to turn on the iPad automatically when I am standing in front of it? Maybe with a motion sensor or something like that

Question: Which iPad (year) were you using?
can you hide the ugly gray areas?
Great video, thank you!

Frankly, if you can't even be arsed to lookup what HA is before you start a video, you're the problem, not the creator.
@@sirseriously Hahahahaaa, AMEN!
Except that he specifically mentions his other HA videos at the beginning
He didn’t even tell us what an iPad was. Shame.
