It is a video about the narrow gauge railway (ferrocarril de via estrecha, 760mm) linking Beograd with Sarajevo, in the former Jugoslavia. By the time this video was caught, a part of this railway line was already closed, after the new standard gauge line (1435mm) opened from Beograd to Titovo Uzice. After 1974, the whole line was closed
After 1970, also some Diesel trains were in use, instead of steam locomotives: it's the grey and blue train you can see in this video at 0.41-0.51, as well as Diesel Locomotives Class 740 you can see after 4.00
Today a section of that line reopened as touristic railway: it includes the very steep section "Sarganska Osmica" near Mokra Gora (see 6.15) in Serbia and the track to Visegrad in Bosnia, the little town with the historic bridge you can see at 0.36
Hvala za ovo!

Pruga koja je rentabilno bila
To je samo KRETEN mogao proglasiti nerentabilnim i zatvoriti. Pozdrav iz Novog Sada!
