I completely disagree. I want to have fun, but ultimately fortnite is a weapons game and right now using weapons are absolutely useless. If I wanted a completely car dominated game I would have gone somewhere like rocket league (bad example ik but you get the point)

Not only comp players are mad. Im a casual and hate this season. Is not about being a professional player or a casual, is about a game that isn't fortnite (it is unbalanced and force you to play in a way in order have a chance to win...the way is always with the cars)...the ideas arent bad, but the lack of balance is clear and the skillgap became so low that is actually not fun for lots of us.

Once again i repeat as a comp player.. WE DO NOT GIVE AF ABOUT YALLS PUBS. We just don’t want that unskilled crap in ranked. And I don’t wanna hear anybody saying there’s any skill in this new stuff like I just don’t wanna hear it because we aren’t gonna agree. Just give comp players ranked with bare bones loot snd mechanics and yall take pubs and have the time of your lives! (: before anyone says “Adapt”.. trust me I have. I’m Elite 73% in just under 10 hours of actual ranked gameplay and all I’ve done is use fists and cars 😂 this will be the fastest I’ve ever made it to unreal and it’s all from abusing the cars lol, I must say I take no satisfaction in gaining the rank of unreal this season though, it’s just brainless gameplay.. not competitive in the least. I’m happy casuals are having fun! I want them to have fun! The more money epic makes the more money they put into live events and promotions and keeping Fortnite going for decades to come! But we just need a healthy separation of casuals from competitive modes like ranked.. and in my opinion right now they are basically one and the same. Just separate the loot pools and everyone will be happy! I also agree that ninja doesn’t have any room to complain.. he only plays pubs so he should have to deal with the pub loot.

There is no such thing as a casual player in fortnite you have AI, bots, camping bots, camping losers, dogshit bots that think they good cuz poop unfair guns, real players, pro wannabes that actually suck they just do the same strat every game to get 1-3 kills then end up dying to one of the other types of players

Ok. Solo cash cup happened. And wow. This season i boring to watch if u like competitive. Heals, fists, and 1 gun. Every match ends in a heal off, every fight is with fists, and nitro is only relevant if u have the medallion. It's a complete joke.

I used to build a lot and now I carry around fists and nitro so I can just run to the car and destroy it, shoot the driver, or if im too low I will just dip out of there. So unless theres a car in the game that shoots 50 bullets a second has 300 speed with 50k hp theres no reason you should be complaining about this. Comp players hate fun 😂

This video is just not true. I’m usually a fan of your content, but not everyone does actually find that fun. We just want a regular gun game that is actually balanced and fun to play. I’m a Zero Build player just like Ninja and I am not a fan of this chaos personally. I can see how some people are finding this season to be really fun, but it isn’t for me. Those of us who are skilled at the game and don’t want to do the annoying Ranked mode all find this season to be a massive disappointment.

This game is goofy and distinct from every other shooter, we have stuff like the rocket ram, guided missile, Kamehameha, and Avengers mythics, people like this game due to how it distances itself from other games, like the art style, live events, and the weapons

But then this season gave a sudden shift in gameplay as cars replaced the guns. Many including me like this change, but that doesnt mean others should like aswell

Hello, Old Guy Gaming. You ofended a lot of people now. The numbers didn’t lie: half of community dosen’t like this season. I have a lots of friends, i am not a very competitive player and a like fun but i dont’t like this season. What is the problem? And this statement came from an old guy who like all the time to complain about the curent state of the game or how Fortinte lost his core. It is impossible to make everyone happy but now the majority aren’t happpy. A good season means, in my opinion, that the loot pool and the map covers every type of player from build to zero build, from solo to squads, from casual to pro. But now this season apear to adress to a non regular Fortnite player. This is my opinion and repeat i have friends and i like fun.
Fortnite has made countless bad decisions, but this is no exception, main reason why nobody likes this season is cause of how cars negatively impacted the start, aswell with the whack item shops, boring items in br, and the complexity of Fortnite
Summer is ahead and I rather enjoy the sun I'll be back in the next season
Fortnite should just change the loot pool for pubs and comp modes.

I do love this season a lot, but I do understand why comp players are getting mad, because ranked still has the cars when it's a competitive mode so I think in ranked they should remove the car and disable the punching from the fists in ranked so nothing gets nerved for the casuals

A random person I had on my friend list randomly decided to play with me today. I don't usually do vc, and I still didn't and we played a couple of matches.
Everything you said is completely right. I have no idea why it's so much fun, but it genuinely is, and I prefer to play SOLOS. To those who have doubts, you gotta try it at least twice. It's genuinely a blast.

Oh my guy, this season speaks our names and by that I mean "me and my buddy". We hire 2 npcs, we both hop in different cars, mod it with a grenade launcher and here comes the two good old boys. 2 cars wreacking havoc. I am sure we made a couple of pro players rage quit. 😅😅

What epic should do to satisfy both is keep pubs the way it is cause casuals are having the time of their lives and let comp players play without cars cause they aren’t in tourneys. Also nerf the nitro fists and how much damage you do whilst running through walls with nitro in ranked.

Another thing. Jump as casual player in solos and you find in the situation when are two players in the mythic cars, one driving and one spamming the turret. This is cringe not fun.

I’m feeling like a mixed bag this season. I enjoy playing solos the most, and I absolutely hate solos this season. But the couple times my brother and few friends have played Trios/Squads, we had a fucking blast. Don’t really know what to think
You guys in the comments are tweaking. It’s not the best season, but it’s not the worst either. You’re just mad that the playing field has been evened out. Now you can’t just build a 4 star hotel on the new guy and expect to win. Just like you sweated your balls off to adapt to building, now you’re mad there’s something else to adapt to? Just because it gave others a fighting chance? 😂 get over yourselves. It’s not all about building and editing at the speed of sound thanks to muscle memory, and practice. You shouldn’t be the only type of player in the game. If you’re mad about the cars and the fists, and the nitro, you should have been mad about people being sweaty to begin with. But you weren’t. Now you’re just mad because you’re not required to be a sweaty stinky doodoohead just to play the game. It’s not about being the absolute best. It’s about improvement, and having fun.
Klarque this season is great but the only thing holding me back is the movement (I've adapted to it but still), ui and no rarities and the colourless top half of the map (the desert biome has given colour to the top half of the map) do in short season 3 is great but chapter 5 is bad and ruins it for me
Well then enjoy the season while it's here, cause this might be the peak of chapter 5.

I am a casual. I like fun and I have friends but every time I drive a car around. I feel bad to whoever I'm doing it to the gauntlets are overpowered in every mode and makes the game not fun to play and I hate it when I have a perfect load out. There's nothing wrong and I just get ran over by a car and then they hit the gritty on me. That is not fun.That is pure rage inducing and borderline Making me want to only play creative until they do something about these gauntlets. There Have added. boogie bombs for the cars, which is OK. But still, but until they do something about these gauntlets. I'm mostly going to be playing creative this season. I don't care what you think this is my opinion.
Honestly I’ve never played competitively in Fortnite but I do play at a high skill level compared to my friends and even my worst friends that are casuals understand how it is to have the whole mega change to go from a season with everyone carrying snipers to people dashing through boxes now to this I think that the new concept of cars and nitro is cool but having someone burst through your box and sending you to the lobby after you put in such hard work just to get killed by someone with less skill is just not how Fortnite is the way they make all the collaborations super over powered and out of concept is frustrating and ubseting for example chapter 2 season 2 had the dead pool hand cannons that were bad and felt like a minor weapon but now the collaborations are just to complex and changes the ENTIRE META to some random bull items to those who agree that this season is good you probably have no friends (that play competitively) and probably got gold 2 last season in ranked

At this point I don’t get it I get that your having fun but this really isn’t Fortnite, yes fun is unique game because of their collars but not where you playing fucking mad max and nuke people if you don’t like playing the normal seasons play another game don’t stick to boarding Fortnite. Bro I had such good weapons in a game and I fulboxed a person, they were fucking able to nitro fist out of the box and kill me in a second. Even if you have such good loot, they should nerf the fists for mobility, not both a weapon and mobility. Completely disagree here, the nitro fists are more powerful than both ringmaster scarrs weapon and megalo dons shotgun.
No matter what Fortnite does the community always finds a way to get mad. Your guys have no idea how it is to hand a multi million dollar company they can’t listen to all of you at once. I mean it’s different ya and competitive play should have appropriate changes, but that’s the gimmick of this season to use cars, play in a different way. Ya competitive stuff should stay the same sure but if we don’t let these changes happen each season is just a reskin of the last. Idk maybe there is stuff I am missing.
if all you get from building in a building game is a car ramming though it and dealing 70 damage or sometimes 150 (happened to me before) then it clearly doesnt work. if you enjoy that then thats fine but I would question whether you like fortnite or would prefer other games. The thing that makes fortnite so different is the building, if you like a meta with no building then perhaps your playing the wrong game. Im sure you get my frustration after grinding builds for so long suddenly Im getting one shot by cars and burning though so many mats from the spray, bow and cars
if an item is so good the only way to beat it is with another one of it then the item is broken unfun and repetitive and at the very least should be nerfed
