I know you asked this question like three weeks ago, but you upgrade blueprint stars by getting the blueprint fragments from either the memetic chests In each town, or by killing bosses. If you do not want the weapon, do not fuse it because you need the fragments to upgrade your other weapons. Each weapon has a type of blueprint, wanderer, juggernaut etc and you need the same type to upgrade. If you want to skip wandering around getting blueprint fragments randomly, you can look at a online map to see which one drops what type.
Sadly you cannot really do the Purification part, specially at high level due to they broke the Turrets and they just sit there doing nothing. But we did do the Production Facilities stuff was fun.
People really UNDERESTIMATE osmos filter, I did that too, the thing is - it is not purifying one item every minute, it is purifying 4! of it's input slots every minute, so it's maxed production is 4 times of what you think, which means 1 filter could probably purify ALL your water Same goes for barrels, if you fill 4 of it's slots, it will convert 4 of it, every cycle
Slightly incorrect information on the Blackfell refining, those items you see at the bottom of the screen are your potential rewards you actually have to pay attention to the left side of the screen on completion and reward claim to actually see what you got. An example of this is any time you get a Deviant you get a popup at the top of the screen showing it, despite what you saw on the claim no Party Monkey popped up at the top of the screen. It's confusing and not well explained but after doing about 30 of these with friends I can confirm that claim at the end is potential rewards and not what you actually got.
The only potential thing is the deviants, everything else is guaranteed unless you are running in a group in which case rewards are less. I play solo and get 100% (minus deviant) every single time, so get 80 acid from the lowest level ones where i see streamers getting 20-30.
You can sell the dumplings from the gold recipe, don't remember the name, but you can get 10K links for 1 dumpling. You'll need deviated morels but they aren't that hard to grow. Also sell your chainsaw and drill right before they break. You get 1000 links for a drill.
I didn't know you could upgrade blueprints. I always wondered what the stars were for. This game doesn't explain anything in weapon, armor, or building descriptions.
The issue is that blueprints are limited, unless you gamba in the wish machine. The open world mystic chests give a set amount, but don't reset like gear and weapon boxes. After that it's gamba for blueprint frags. But most builds it's better to outright buy the blueprint, get your build set up how you want (most of the top builds you can look up on YT can clear almost all content anyway), then farm starcrom and gamba bp frags to upgrade your weapons and armor. And then the devs could nerf it all next season in a few weeks 😂😂😂
I only gambled my Starchrom from the start and I've maxed out probley 50% of all all blueprints so when I build next season I'm just gonna be zooming through most of the game cause my shit is insanely strong, I still got a full legendary set and 5 legendary weapons as well
Acid never be a issue ~ it's fuel ~ is the issue at late game for Prime war ~ crafting ammo for those galling turret to use in prime war cost alot ~ it's 1 premium fuel per ammo crating => 1 premium fuel making from 50 normal fuel .
I am using tungsten ammo, because I have the fix gear for myself and fully upgraded atm and i have got lots materials for it. So I don't mind using it, farming acid meanwhile and trying to exchange stuffs for acids. Controller is way more hard to get if you want to get mods for weapon/armor from bosses and silos. Not enough event T-T
Its always worth trading your level 1-2 cortexs to make level 3 cortex as you only get 40 per week if you do all 40 level 3 u get well more than just doing level 2s in the long run
Watch out with resetting ciphers. I reset the advanced synthesis bench and now I still have it but can craft only things that are possible to craft on standard synthesis bench.
It’s not a waste of starchrom to upgrade the cortexes because there is a limit of how many you can purify each week. Ya if you could do infinite it wouldn’t make sense to upgrade the cortexes but since we are limited to 40 a week it’s better to use the highest level cortexes possible. 40 level 4 cortexes is 4k starchrom, level 1 cortexes give 2800 and lvl 2 give 3400. It is really easy to get cortexes too, the refinery’s are really good and doing the mist events. Every mist event in the 40+ zone gives a lvl 3 cortex and 1k el and they take 5 mins, it’s advisable to always do one if they pop up. I would only do lower level cortexes if the reset is soon and you don’t have time or want to farm for the lvl3 cortexes.
Double tungsten, 50% yield on regular ammo, 50% yield and -30% xrafting time on ap ammo specializations are great. I have all three and with just a few tungsten ore nodes I am able to make hundreds of ingots.
keep in mind, if you help someone, or get helped by someone on doing a production run, each person gets thier own win result; there's no competition or split rewards. Having more people makes it less boring, much faster, and; when you've used your last contract, you can return the favor while the other guy uses HIS contracts and keep that sweet easy acid gravytrain running. Obviously, if you start getting # of people that performance goes to shite; you've optimized too far, but before that....
If you can do them solo you should do that. I get 100% of the listed rewards (minus deviant) when i do them solo, so about 3x the rewards of doing it in a group from what i've watched on youtube.
I disagree on the ammo. If you are doing pve servers you need your steel to make biomass missiles and you should be making tungsten ammo. I have 5000 acid, 2000+ tungsten but am hard pressed to keep 1000 steel around because I go through so many biomass missiles.
there isnt anyone talking about memetic specialization and how to get specific ones, would be nice if there was somewhere we could info on this, in other words ive been looking to obtain the crate specialization and you are the first person to say you can only get it in low slots.
Everyone skims over how you get all these blueprints to upgrade your weapons...I'm already 50 and spent the ones I had not knowing I wasn't able to get any more blueprints after that.
the way the blueprints drop from the mystical chests in each settlemnt are set pieces and likely wont be able to get enough of the specific type you want to upgrade any weapons or armor you want to use so may as well just fuse them. Can't use them to upgrade any of the legendarys out of the wish machine anyways, gonna have to gamba for those shards either way
Regarding purification: Since each boss has a high chance to drop an eclipse cortex, if you run only one eclipse cortex per purification, you can potentially replace your spent cortexes in time for next week so you don't have to farm them so much.
bosses, elites and events drop so many cortexes that it's not really an issue, i have 135 lvl 3 currently and I dont farm them. Always upgrade your cortex to 3 to maximize the starcrom gain from them and there is no difference in mob numbers if you purify 40 at a time or 1 so may as well just save up and run as many as you can at once to only have to defend the one time edit: they have since changed the mechanic to make purifying easier if you put in less cortexes at a time, but still just as difficult if you put in all 40 so still either run 40 to get it done fast or run 5 at a time to farm the rainman
@@Blinkin_Xavier It takes 9 pieces of lv. 1 cortexes to get a lv 3. Am not a fan of grinding like that. There also isn't much reason to visit settlements after the first time clear.
Best specialization is getting double alum and tungsten out of ur electric furnace eg I smelt to get 50 ingot when I take it out it gives me 100 it's taken a massive strain off my acid supply
Theres a recipe in tallgrass inn that sells for 10k energy links but uses deviated morels. So if u dont have any of those high selling items u can cook those. i dont remember the exact name but its called yubao dumplings. Something dumplings lol.
Regarding specializations: in your case the precious metal refining one is completely useless because you already have the combo chipset specialization. I have both, and i cant wait to reset the refining one as soon as a i can xd
It's not useless. If you use electronics on tactical items a lot then chips are hard to make. Meanwhile gold and silver is extremely plentiful if you know where it is. You have to compete with others for it, but usually nobody knows where all the nodes are.
Buy a solar drill with the mining stardust 100% upgrade. get the spec to turn stardust into acid. get upgrade smelting time -60% I can make 99 acid in 40mins x2 per smelter. get fuel and spec to make stardust source from fuel and the ore. you can farm that stuff easily and have 1000s of stardust source and acid on demand. it's 15 fuel per x50 source made but all ore is 1:1 with this. So farming Oil and making fuel makes this trivial. I also lucked out and got spec to smelt the rare upgrade crystals so I never need to farm those.
i cant feed with the water pump the osmosis, the game dont let me only accept feeding the water pump with the osmosis. why is that? yes im try connecting the right order, first the water pump then the osmosis.
Me and a buddy did the purification event and literally nothing dropped for us. Our weekly limit didn't change from 0/40 but we did get to do the wave based event at the cost of 40 cortex and not get them back.
The reward may spawn on top of your tower or sometimes below your build. If you do not collect it then it will not show as completed but you will lose the items used to start the event.
im sitting on 2mil EL in phase 3 now.. what can i do with that or what should i do with that? just keep it? or can i buy something with that what is being kept over for the next seasons?
huge mistake to avoid is purifying any cortex below lvl 3, weekly cap of 40 would give 4000 starcrom, if purify 2's or 1's you're missing out on alot of starcrom
good luck clearing lvl3 run in your first week if your not absolutely min/maxing things. most players are still mining tin and copper at that point in the starter area. Hell i dont think you can even get L3 cortex as a drop in the first phase.
purification for starcrom super easy. just build a levitating base over water being partial on land. npcs cant swim and just gota shoot the flyers. easy 4k
I went to polluted area and collected a bunch of the dirty water there. Took it back to base and put it through the osmosis filter but it came out as pure water. So, it needs to be pumped out of polluted area ground by the water?
@@christopherparks6487 I believe it takes acid to produce stardust, which if you had tons of acid it technically wouldn’t be. However acid is a big struggle point for a lot of players

refineries to max out starchrome dude i have 11k in my resonator and that is after i reached my weekly cap and my wife has 30k coz she gets her weekly from mine..... i think i/we am playing to much i just wish i /we could do the prime war i am so close tofinishing off my build but everytime we start it no one arrive and if they do they dont bring anything useful and yes we announce 2 hours in advance highest was 5 ppl joining so in total we were 7 and it failed HARD my biggest issue is Stardust sources takes forever to farm those coz my wife refuse to move to a poluted zone
Stardust water pump useless? Do you even play bro? That's a great way to make strardust source; I always have 60k+ source thanks to that, which is extremely useful in the end game, I can calibrate dropped gear and not even dip into my reserves. And leveling Cortex is what you actually have to do, it's not a "complete waste of time" You never want to use up any of your 40 allowed cortex deposits with a lower level and not receive the max payout, so you combine the lower level cortex dropped by elites or you're grinding boss fights for level 3s. I can't tell if this video was intended to warn people what mistakes to avoid or if your techniques are the mistakes.
I hate to be that guy but these are the worst ways to farm acid, sure the farm is passive but you can make the same amount in mere minuts from map events. Let me explain. The event cargo scramble is ussaly never contested because people dont see a use for it nor do most people find it fun. This leaves you alone (in most cases) this allows you to afk through the event and get upwards of 1000 sproutlets depending on the lvl of the event. Now you may ask but what about the acid? Easy you can trade with the sproutlets trader for acid. For the insane price of 2 sproutlets per acid. This can allow you to make about 1000 acid in 40 min mostly afk.
Ps you can get acid even faster if there is a person you can kill all the time as it will take away the down time of the sproutlet gain, just make sure you dont die.
There's easy to make food (no deviate crop required) that bumps acid drops from deviant kills by 50%. Until you hit t5 weapons you can skip calibrating weapons beyond the first couple of ticks unless you just want to skip making a tier while levelling. Also if you're using a sniper rifle bear in mind that any excess damage from that juicy headshot is wasted so using a cheaper ammo is viable. Even for other guns steel ammo for the regular enemies will save a ton of acid since stuff still dies quickly and leave tungsten ammo for bosses.

People really UNDERESTIMATE osmos filter, I did that too, the thing is - it is not purifying one item every minute, it is purifying 4! of it's input slots every minute, so it's maxed production is 4 times of what you think, which means 1 filter could probably purify ALL your water
Same goes for barrels, if you fill 4 of it's slots, it will convert 4 of it, every cycle
Probably the coolest ad I’ve seen but as an IT specialist myself I can soundly say the game coding is not a safe field. Anything else go for it!
That was probably the most important video that I’ve watched once human
Thank you for the video! This was super helpful, and I have over 300 hours in the game from the first closed alpha test :)
It is in the survival guide, at least.
I only gambled my Starchrom from the start and I've maxed out probley 50% of all all blueprints so when I build next season I'm just gonna be zooming through most of the game cause my shit is insanely strong, I still got a full legendary set and 5 legendary weapons as well
@@DayneJ93 ok.
Yikes. One of the only "game mistakes to avoid" videos that actually has valuable tips and not just "remember to eat and drink". Thank you for this!
@@MyAmazingUsername you bet!
for pve server maybe for pvp nop
keep in mind, if you help someone, or get helped by someone on doing a production run, each person gets thier own win result; there's no competition or split rewards.
I have 5000 acid, 2000+ tungsten but am hard pressed to keep 1000 steel around because I go through so many biomass missiles.
why does your tooltip say not to use the resonant filter and then in the video you say to make sure to use it
It's called a Thumbnail and it's click bait.
@@zero604 so he has defrauded me of my click
there isnt anyone talking about memetic specialization and how to get specific ones, would be nice if there was somewhere we could info on this, in other words ive been looking to obtain the crate specialization and you are the first person to say you can only get it in low slots.
Can't use them to upgrade any of the legendarys out of the wish machine anyways, gonna have to gamba for those shards either way
thanks for the tips i had no idea and have over 100 hours already
Regarding purification: Since each boss has a high chance to drop an eclipse cortex, if you run only one eclipse cortex per purification, you can potentially replace your spent cortexes in time for next week so you don't have to farm them so much.
bosses, elites and events drop so many cortexes that it's not really an issue, i have 135 lvl 3 currently and I dont farm them. Always upgrade your cortex to 3 to maximize the starcrom gain from them and there is no difference in mob numbers if you purify 40 at a time or 1 so may as well just save up and run as many as you can at once to only have to defend the one time
edit: they have since changed the mechanic to make purifying easier if you put in less cortexes at a time, but still just as difficult if you put in all 40 so still either run 40 to get it done fast or run 5 at a time to farm the rainman
@@Blinkin_Xavier I don't farm dungeons so am sitting on 200 controllers and limited cortexes.
@@Tachynonand you dont complete events or kill elites in the world either? it's alot easier to come by cortexes outside of dungeons
@@Blinkin_Xavier It takes 9 pieces of lv. 1 cortexes to get a lv 3. Am not a fan of grinding like that. There also isn't much reason to visit settlements after the first time clear.
@@Tachynon so you dont kill bosses and you dont farm mats, what do you even do in the game lol
I do not see full cover video about purification and stardust in description.
Only question I have so your pumps don't have to be in water ??
can yuo do pasive acid whit a truck home?
Regarding specializations: in your case the precious metal refining one is completely useless because you already have the combo chipset specialization. I have both, and i cant wait to reset the refining one as soon as a i can xd
It's not useless. If you use electronics on tactical items a lot then chips are hard to make. Meanwhile gold and silver is extremely plentiful if you know where it is. You have to compete with others for it, but usually nobody knows where all the nodes are.
Great video! Also you can move the boxes to barricade some of the entrances during refinery.
Deviated chops boost acid loot per enemy drop when doing those defense nodes
i cant feed with the water pump the osmosis, the game dont let me only accept feeding the water pump with the osmosis.
why is that? yes im try connecting the right order, first the water pump then the osmosis.
it's not the order, gravity works in this game
Me and a buddy did the purification event and literally nothing dropped for us. Our weekly limit didn't change from 0/40 but we did get to do the wave based event at the cost of 40 cortex and not get them back.
The reward may spawn on top of your tower or sometimes below your build. If you do not collect it then it will not show as completed but you will lose the items used to start the event.
@@Actualcaptainpriceyep, i ran into this. If you have it in a box room then it can spawn on the roof (sometimes under as well).
Having only 3 pumps per osmosis purifier is just a waste... You can have like 8 pumps per purifier and still it wont fill all slots of the purifier
People need to say what world they are on when they start a Production Facility event.
im sitting on 2mil EL in phase 3 now.. what can i do with that or what should i do with that? just keep it? or can i buy something with that what is being kept over for the next seasons?
Wait till phase 6. Starchrome crates will unlock in the shop you can purchase with EL. Like the Planuna shop.
huge mistake to avoid is purifying any cortex below lvl 3, weekly cap of 40 would give 4000 starcrom, if purify 2's or 1's you're missing out on alot of starcrom
good luck clearing lvl3 run in your first week if your not absolutely min/maxing things. most players are still mining tin and copper at that point in the starter area. Hell i dont think you can even get L3 cortex as a drop in the first phase.
@@asmosisyup2557 talking about endgame not first week, you cant do most of the things that're mentioned in this video in the first phase
purification for starcrom super easy. just build a levitating base over water being partial on land. npcs cant swim and just gota shoot the flyers. easy 4k
Eat deviated chops before doing the permits with a group = tons of Ressources without moving
Can you get more of the production facillities card after you done it all
Yes the refinery permits and cards are drops from mobs in strongholds which respawn.
That disassembling weapon tips that i didn't know, thanks for that
I went to polluted area and collected a bunch of the dirty water there. Took it back to base and put it through the osmosis filter but it came out as pure water. So, it needs to be pumped out of polluted area ground by the water?
What you need to get is Polluted Water not Dirty Water. Dirty water becomes purified water and Polluted water becomes acid.
fix: do not waste your starchrom and time to do T1 cortexes! i have too much i cant spend them. and i talk about T3 ones!
bro can you made a video about the new base with acid farm and safe starchrome purification
So why is the stardust waterpump useless?
@@christopherparks6487 I believe it takes acid to produce stardust, which if you had tons of acid it technically wouldn’t be. However acid is a big struggle point for a lot of players
@CreativeGamingUA-cam I haven't built one yet but I picked that lol guess ima reroll it, as a casual I don't see myself solving my acid problem anytime soon lol
You need to make batteries witch take 20 acid per and other mats but in turn get like 200 stardust
Quick correction, you get enemies based off the permit you use, not your level.
refineries to max out starchrome dude i have 11k in my resonator and that is after i reached my weekly cap and my wife has 30k coz she gets her weekly from mine..... i think i/we am playing to much i just wish i /we could do the prime war i am so close tofinishing off my build but everytime we start it no one arrive and if they do they dont bring anything useful and yes we announce 2 hours in advance highest was 5 ppl joining so in total we were 7 and it failed HARD
my biggest issue is Stardust sources takes forever to farm those coz my wife refuse to move to a poluted zone
Finding somewhere to passive acid farm if your not there rn will be next to impossible have fun...gotta have a better source of acid
Im near thar area for my base and my pumps keep giving both dirty and polluted water? Pumps are high in the air in the ground and 100 pollution area
Bro I have soo much level 3 cortexes. I wasn't going out of my way to get em too.
Why is the stardust water pump extremely useless? Ever used it at a contamined area or am i missing something?
You may not be in a polluted _enough_ zone. 15 or higher number on your backpack
ur link for diablo builds isn’t working
I thought we couldnt reset specializations??
I don’t understand why I’m on a different phase.. I’m on manibus and it says it ends tomorrow
When they open a new server it is on phase 1 even if there is a later phase on older servers. There is phase 2 on the server that I’m playing on.
the impure acid to acid ratio is 2:1 not 10:1 lol that would be miserable but great video overall.
always upgrade your cortexes.... you will get soo many
Stardust water pump useless?
3:27 eating the deviated chops while doing facilities are easy grind for acid if u wanna save money, got around 500 in like an hr or 2
Where do you farm at?
side note, water pump doesnt have to actually be in water 👍
So, what should I avoid ?
You didnt mention blackfell permits, they yield the highest amount of acid in the game + acid meat.
Why is stardust water pump useless?
I got a group of 4 people the other day and we did 17 Tier 4 Production events. I'm friggin rich now. lol
I think o know why I didn't know this because I don't have what's needed to upgrade it.
He didn’t just suggest doing the dog boss and using controllers to get chipset materials did he? 😅
Stardust water pump is extremely useless?
I did this and two guys came and i got no rewards it was locked. im pretty sure they took my rewards
i hate the fact that you have to manually add the acid to the barrel :(
2 minutes before the video starts lol
Also another ps. If you dont find a cargo scramble just switch worlds. They have separate events.
wait - u give endgame advice but name this by - hudge endgame mistakes to avoid ? ;-) its probably my english understandings. cheers Mate
300k EL already😊
But no endgame for me due to territory bug😢
LOL your base looks like the one I seen in my server.
It seems you don't know meaning of "exponentially".
Really doesnt matter this games end content is non existent
So the Drinking game for this guy is Starchrom.. Every time he says Starchrom you have to.. nevermind, people will die.
