Tog på/Trains on the Rørosbanen - 9th October 2023

The last country on my mega trip was Norway, a country I hadn’t been to for 6 years! The main reason was due to engineering works, trains were diverted via the Rørosbanen, a diesel only line so it was a great opportunity to see some diesel freights. A good variety is seen here, and the highlight for sure was capturing an MZ on a fully loaded log train!
In order we see:
1: 6446 + 6419 + 186 700 south of Elverum with an intermodal train to Trondheim
2: 7212 working a Hamar - Trondheim service
3: 6446 + 6419 + 186 700 seen again but north of Elverum
4: MZ 1422 powering away from Elverum with a timber train to the north
5: 1422 is seen again north of Rena
6: North Rail 261 007 + 261 009 work an intermodal train to Heimdal near Rena
7: 312 004 is seen near Rena with an intermodal to Alnabru
8: 312 004 is seen again near Oksna.
