You are missing the time zone difference traveling East to West or West to east. And also he flying private jet not commercial.
It only takes 5 1/2 hrs to go LA to NYC or vice versa via private jet. But with time zone difference you add 3 hrs to time if he was going from la to nyc. If he was going from nyc to LA you subtract 3 hrs.
So for example if Drake left NYC to goto LA at noon, he’d arrive in LA at 2:30pm that same day even though he was in the air 5 and half hrs.
On the other hand, if Drake was leaving LA at noon, he’d arrive in NYC at 8:30pm the same day because his flight time would still be 5 1/2 hrs but nyc time zone is 3 hrs later.
