I love my 58" 4k Hisense that I got at Walmart for $270! Can be found regularly at that price & the speakers are so loud! I did add a sound bar & sub woofer but the TV Speakers almost sound just as good, especially in a smaller living room

Please have a try. And I beg you post a video in which comparisons between different TV browser must be quite useful.
1 thing I'm struggling to find is a PVR that can record regular antenna-input TV channels/programs... I've found tons of PVR apps that can record IPTV but nothing that can record standard DTV broadcast shows. My old hisense ''smartTV'' had it as feature but I hated the rest of their OS (which was not Android)

How the heck can I turn of those stupid intrusive ads on my home screen. I tired reseting the android tv home app and turn off update in the google store settings. At first everything seams fine, but after like 5 minutes the stupid new interface is active again, displaying the "cinematic ads" in all it's f***** glory. I have no problems with ads in freemium apps, but I sure don't want them as part of the user interface of my device. I have a Philips 77OLED806. I'd appreciate it if, anyone knows a solution.
They are using a Nvidia Shield, as LG C1 doesn't use Android so saying this is an android TV video is garbage. Nvidia shield will run tons of apps that android TV tv's won't. True android TV's native TV won't run all these apps like Sony Tv's from 2021 onward.
