This is Embarrassing..... from what you showed in this video you missed a deer three times at 600 yards. That takes no skill. All you are doing is slinging lead down range. If you had the skill to shoot a 12'" group at that distance, then maybe you could call yourself "long range hunters," 'til then you should stick to half that distance form the look of it. #rookies
So many things can happen when you take a long range shot, from cross winds, thermals, the deer could take a step forward, bullet has less energy, they walk behind the trees and you lose track of which one you're shooting at (now risking wounding a second deer). I just watched another video where the guy shot at 480 + yards.... wounded deer. It pains me to see people take that long of a shot, when it wasn't absolutely necessary. I have always known Hmong to be diligent hunters, make sure you are letting the youth know, that some times you have to let "a buck" go instead of the risk of injuring one. Good luck, glad to see the elders out there.
Nice video...ignore the haters. This is an incredibly difficult style of hunting. I put my own limit at 350-400yds due to equipment and shooter limitations. Much respect!
I love that you guys hunt together. I hunt with a group of guys in Utah for the last 13 years. It's my therapy. God bless you guys and keep you all safe.
I grew up hunting in these mountains still do. Some of these ppl shoot the shit out of everything. I seen some wardens with them on the side of the road with all kinds of game layed out. They're not locals.
I wish you guys would respect our land and hunt with some ethics! Know your limits and don't embarrass all hunters by your willingness to wound living creatures! Half the skill of hunting is mastering the art of getting in close. You guys should try it sometime... you would be surprised at your sense of accomplishment for doing it the harder way and proud to still have some dignity at the end of the day!
I dont know what you mean by [you guys] and [our land] but we respect and follow all laws and regulations within the state that we hunt. Everyone has their way of hunting and there is no RIGHT or WRONG of hunting as long as we hunt within the regulations. We are not the only hunting group in this country that hunt long range. You dont support long range then I get it. Bow hunt is for you. And, we know our tag limit. A little advice..make your video so we can learn from you too. Thanks for the advice and good luck hunting.
go rant to your mom how an ethical hunter you are. they missed the deer on public land that's being control by dfg. stop claiming lands that is not even yours. u should go tell your ppls to stop poaching in their private backyard all year long if u want to talk about respecting the land that you never had own. if u mad then g tell your mom too and not youtube. lol!

Heman lecea...thanks for view you b safe out there in 2019 season
B zone is nice n with big buck but na...2 far
You need a gadget to dope the wind like real snipers have, all that money in rifles, scope, accessories and a slight wind ruined those shots .
Daaaamn what a shot! Great family video 👍🏼
What a wonderful journey. I'm enjoying your video. looks much fun and most importantly is the cooking style that made hungry. Thanks for sharing guys.
Gotta love Mule Deer country

Can I assume this is a wilderness area so you can avoid road hunters?
Yet

Ethan,
You should learn to respect all ways of hunting just not your way as long as no laws are broken.
Maybe you should try long range hunting.

Almost had 2! But you guys still knocked one down. Congrats.
Thanks, Oscar. Could-of and should-of, but it was good to be out there. Thanks for watching and subscribe for future videos.
@@teamsniperhmonglongrange P.S. Your videos are improving in quality and production value. Good job.
@Oscar Ramirez Thank you
what caliber whats that rifle?
One was a 300. Forgot what was the other one.
could be just the shooter. that bullet travels flat but the person haha
Shooter mistake by not adjusted to wind speed. Plus, spotter told them it hit right & high so a good shooter would adjust on next shot. Shooter! LOL
