Nioh 2 - All Demon Form Burst Counter

Burst Counter mechanics in Nioh 2. It's pretty simple actually, especially for Brute Demon. Feral and Phantom might need a little training first before you can use it properly and maximize it's potential.

So brute does massive damage while interrupting the opponent, but has a chance to land a blow on you.
Feral completely counters the opponent by slashing into them
Phantom stuns the opponent

All Burst Counter will interrupt, but also does high Ki damage.
AFAIK the different is like this:
- Brute will counter if the attack connect, the easiest one
- Feral is like dodging (basically short dash) at the right timing, the hardest one, dodging into the attack seems work more often, maybe because i treat it like doing Mikiri Counter in Sekiro.
- Phantom is like blocking at the right timing, fairly easy as i remember

@@Xyberion yeah i can counter with phantom and brute with my eyes closed but with feral i either dodge through them by accidentally, mistimed or the dash was in range
