That would actually work really well. The difficult part would be controlling it, but even that wouldn't be that hard.... oooo interchangeable e3d compatible nozzles?
I love this project. I can't afford to contribute, but I hope this continues for a long time. Seeing you talk in front of the board when it's full will be really cool. I wish you more luck with future 3d pens and thanks for the awesome video
Thanks for the pixel devin! I'm Calli blanchette and the portal gun looks great! Thank you so much! I'll keep supporting you because you're such an amazing creator! Keep up the great work!
My 3D simo mini broke a while ago, I emailed the company and they asked for the order number, emailed the number and then never herd back, I even emailed them again asking if they are going to send me a new one or what , no reply for over a month now
I think I'd be inclined to drill a few sequential millimetre holes in the casings of 3D pens and a larger hole to connect an air tube to. I'd then connect the air tube and a 3D printed square funnel with a fitting for a PC fan 40-80mm and outer filter. To combat temperature drops that could affect the melting of the plastic I'd run the pen at a slightly higher temperature to narrow the hot and cooler zones air and hopefully it could help keep the heat where the heat is needed and the cool air to cool the electronics. This is all theoretical of course, but anything that can assist in extending the run time of a pen or even eliminate a heat problem all together is potentially worth a thought or an attempt at.
Thanks! There is another pen on Amazon just like it, but a high- temperature version for only $40. (Can melt PLA and ABS.) I think it is the best 3d pen for the price, currently, and a Scribbler costs 2x as much. *BTW* You have been replying to most of my questions on your videos, and I really appreciate it. Keeping in contact with subscribers never goes un- noticed! :D
When I first saw the pixelated heart I thought it was a reference to Pegboard Nerds, since their recognisable logo is the pixelated heart and, well, it's now on a pegboard. If that wasn't the intent of the patron who requested it, then I must still thank them for the accidental reference
I bought a really cheap 3D pen for like $20. It failed for some time, but when taking it apart I saw that I just had to resolder some connections. So if you are not afraid of repairing your pen from time to time, even a cheap one can last you quite a while.
Great video again. About your pens dying on you; I've been doing 3Dpen workshops with kids for a while now and apart from a few (much to my surprise actually), most of my pens still work. After being used and abused hours on end every workshop. The pens I'm using are from an affordable Chinese brand called Myriwell I accidentally ran into during a jumble sale. They do have different models so I don't know about all of them, but I can look up which type I have exactly if you want.
Excellent techniques. I wonder what the failures are for the pens. Is it the wire coming undone each time or is it a variety of issues? My bet would be on the battery. Seems like torture for them.
I completely agree with that statement that 3D pens should be built to last, i bought a 3D doodler in new york last summer and by the time i got back home it basically stopped working
So many people were thinking ‘who the heck is Beavercreek?!?’ Well I’m from around there, and know who they are. But I’m not in their band though, my school’s band bumps into them where sidewalks end and where people are on your side. That last sentence doesn’t make sense unless you’re from around there too.
Wow! All of those are amazing! The doubles look so real like a picture not a drawing! The car looks really really good too🙂...About a thousand times better than any drawing I could ever do! Sorry for such a tough one but you did a great job it looks like my car🙂 I love them both❤️
I love your artistic talent and this is an awesome idea in general, but the only thing I think would look a LOT batter would be if you were less rectangular and regular when putting the pixels on the pegboard. Chaos looks better than symmetry.
Oh god I absolutely love the scuba flag 😍😍 I've been a scuba diver since I was 4 years old, I'm 20 now and it's still my biggest love so I definitely recommend it :D
Could you try making a artwork with the 3D printed. Make a flat picture in illustration or whatever and make it 1 layer high so it's just a flat artwork. Would be cool to see
You should make a springo that you attach to you finger and through it and it come back, like small. P.S, I love your videos I watch all of them thank you for posting! I'll stay tuned!😃
ive been thinking of getting a 3dsimo mini but when you said they all end up having problems befre you have even used them for over 10 hours i wanted to know if yu think it would be a good investment or if i should get a cheaper one since they all break anyways. please let me know what you think i should do because im in a bit of a dilema
+JACK HILL the 3Dsimo mini is good, but I'd say it's only worth it off you plan on also using the other attachments. Otherwise there's no huge advantage
Hey Devin, I've been watching your channel for about a year now and I've been looking into getting my first 3D printer. Any suggestions for a first 3D printer under 500 dollars?
I love ur work keep it up I think I might do some myself THANKS FOR TEH IDEA and may I suggest an idea....could u plz do a pusheen cat 🐱 with a Christmas hat....by any chance???
Hey devin, what about building your own 3d pen? Instead of the mini motor inside the pen, you could build a bowden 3d pen with an external motor.
Stefan Weber yeah you could 3d print a 3d pen, 3dceptions
Stefan Weber that would be cool
That would actually work really well. The difficult part would be controlling it, but even that wouldn't be that hard.... oooo interchangeable e3d compatible nozzles?
0.25mm nozzle :D
Man, I wish I had more electronics experience, because that sounds like a great idea!
The handshake one is actually really impressive
i agree
I really love these peg board videos can't wait for the whole wall to be covered
Its very nice of you to show recognition to your loyal fans, you are a great artist and a great person! Keep up this fun to watch content!
I love this project. I can't afford to contribute, but I hope this continues for a long time. Seeing you talk in front of the board when it's full will be really cool. I wish you more luck with future 3d pens and thanks for the awesome video
This is such a cool idea to include your supporters in your videos!
Thanks for the pixel devin! I'm Calli blanchette and the portal gun looks great! Thank you so much! I'll keep supporting you because you're such an amazing creator! Keep up the great work!

Chloe Froning :(
i really like this idea/project as a whole
If you are goning to make Rubik's cube please try to make SPEED CUBE. It will be really cool.
Guess whats back back
Back again
Pegbord is back
Tell patrons
Haha noice
Monster Pumpkin ok
The pixel heart looks like the determination heart from the popular game Undertale
I love that black to white gradient.
The doubles are my favourite of today's pixels but that gradient is my favourite element.

Or he could do photogrammetry then go back in with be to add interesting details
mr zaku smart
mr zaku YESYESYESYESYESYESYES
Is your Dewang X4 Pen broken? I'm looking to get a 3d pen that wont break on me after using it a couple of times lol...
Gave it to my cousin, but it's still working for her! I wasn't able to find it on Amazon anymore though :\ The scribbler also stays alive!
You could also get 3 doodler 2.0
This is honestly my favorite thing you do on this channel X) Hope you do more soon!
I cam just imagine the future of this pegboard being filled with pixel art!😍😍
It looks so good! The pixels look so *cute* ! I can't wait until most of the board is covered in these little pixels!
Make a 3D ship coming out of pixel with water hope you get my request.i love you vids hope you the best
When I first saw the pixelated heart I thought it was a reference to Pegboard Nerds, since their recognisable logo is the pixelated heart and, well, it's now on a pegboard. If that wasn't the intent of the patron who requested it, then I must still thank them for the accidental reference

Thank You Devin, I love my handshake. cheers Tony. I like the Idea below of the self build Bowden supplied pen.
This is super neat. Love how the pegboard is filling out. So frustrating that the 3D pens have a short lifespan.
Devin is the Bob Ross of 3d pen drawing ... draw those happy little pla clouds ...
Even if you can’t solve one, still print a 3x3 Rubik’s cube! I am a cuber, and the mechanism of a 3x3 is pretty simple.
Great video again. About your pens dying on you; I've been doing 3Dpen workshops with kids for a while now and apart from a few (much to my surprise actually), most of my pens still work. dude the gradient is AMAZING
here is an idea for your pegboard thingy, how about a 3d arm trying to grab something?
Thanks for requesting the cr10 3d printer because when you made that video I knew it was a perfect printer for me and I got it!
I really like the oxygen tanks it turned out amazing
My 3doodler create has never jammed and lasted for two years and I used it for 2 weeks straight
Wow, that's genius, he is able to create content and advertise his patreon at the same time
It's amazing to think that over 200k people are interested in 3D printing
i love these vids and can you make the flash eating lightning wearing a sombrero
My 3D former is really good! I’ve had it for a year and it just takes a bit longer to heat up.
Excellent techniques. I wonder what the failures are for the pens. Is it the wire coming undone each time or is it a variety of issues? My bet would be on the battery. Seems like torture for them.
Most are connected to an outlet, so no battery issues. Many just stop extruding, or the plastic oozes into the internals where it shouldn't
I went to Beavercreek and feel like I should know who you are LOL. My top 3 guesses are either Fettering Kairmont, Cville, or Carroll?
Kristen M. A litter farther north, about 20 miles
Wow! All of those are amazing! The doubles look so real like a picture not a drawing! The car looks really really good too🙂...About a thousand times better than any drawing I could ever do! Sorry for such a tough one but you did a great job it looks like my car🙂 I love them both❤️
+Emily Kirkman yay 😊 I'm glad to have your seal of approval!
I love your artistic talent and this is an awesome idea in general, but the only thing I think would look a LOT batter would be if you were less rectangular and regular when putting the pixels on the pegboard. Chaos looks better than symmetry.
Its Not Tylor - chaos looks better than symmetry to SOME people. I have no preference either way but I'm sure a larger majority prefer symmetry.
Chaos is SO much better!!!!!
Oh god I absolutely love the scuba flag 😍😍 I've been a scuba diver since I was 4 years old, I'm 20 now and it's still my biggest love so I definitely recommend it :D
Can you use the same smoothing method as with the machine 3d printed objects?
Hi where did you get the little pixels that stick in the pegboard?
Those are looking epic, pity about the life span of 3D pens, so glad I haven't invested in one and am instead saving up for a lathe :)
you should draw the, logo that you have for your picture but with lots of little pixels making a big pixel picture

Pixelated heart?
**Megalovania intensifies**
Excellent! I didn't expect a heart to give you so much trouble. I loved seeing your failed attempts too.

What pen did you use after the sunlus broke? I had captions on but it said Inner Vision. Is that correct? I googled it and nothing came up.
