Amazing! Sounds like 2007/2008 The Verve material. By the way, absolutely love how he pulled off the Nick McCabe sound in this song. He should do more of those.
@@davidcarlton2513 i get your point my dude but ashcroft solo stuff doesn't sound anything like any verve album as a whole project, ashcroft has always kept to the acoustic orchestra mix with the odd traditional rocknroll tune and some electronic (new york, money to burn, money money). but never the alternative sounds mccabe conjurs from a guitar, these high pitch cries of such which are just beautiful when mixed with the ashcoft vocals (faded vocals or stronger). the mix of 2 is what made the verve, on top of that, some very good drumming and bass which only aided them more. Also note, im a big fan of his solo work from start to finish, and the verve, im just trying to explain what i think makes the difference and why people prefer the verve heavily over ashcroft solo!

These songs exist and I will always have a way of listening to these works of majestic beauty, but I still wanna be in love with albums. Natural rebel is ok but I'm not in love with it. If these two songs were on there, i would put it up there alongside 'alone with everybody' and 'human conditions' The madness of it Pisses me off!
Crazy how this is not on the album. It reminds me so much of The Verve, especialy the guitar parts. Natural Rebel has some really good songs on it (A Man In Motion, We All Bleed, Money Money) but I think this one is probably the best we heard from Richard in a long time.
