Hi Devine, i found orca fascinating, but i kept coming back for this video for the sound in it and i was wondering if you got some more info on how to atchieve this sound? estrangly in love with this tune! thanks
It's nothing special, it was written using my Enfer synth which is basically Ableton's Sampler. I fill it with various soviet synth samples that I liked. You can give it a try: wiki.xxiivv.com/site/enfer.html The current samples that are loaded in it now are for a different show I did, but it should give you a good idea of how simple the setup actually it. No daw needed.
Ask on the lines forum, maybe someone can help you. I'd need to have more details to help you, and I can't do tech support on youtube. llllllll.co/t/orca-livecoding-tool/17689
I knew your channel by looking for Blame! Related stuff and fell in love with your creations, and now Andrew Huang is choosing your work as sample for his contest I'm more than happy
From what I understand, the orca is responsible for composition mostly. so the questiuon is: where did you send output of the program to make this video? Please add it to the description. Edit: Nevermmind, you answered it in another comment, and I quote: it was written using my Enfer synth which is basically Ableton's Sampler. I fill it with various soviet synth samples that I liked. I feel like this would be playing over the loudspeaker in the among us universe! Crewmates, nervously doing their tasks, looking over their shoulders, wary of the threat of death at any time. Imposters, planning out their murders, smiling maniacally when they aren't sussed, patiently waiting for the right time to brutally end someone's life.
Andrew huang just used this in a 4 producer's 1 sample video
Just watched the video! Very cool :)
This one is amazing. Would love a full version!
here from andrew obviously. really fascinating shit tho, subbed
Is this an outtake from Autechre in their Oversteps era?

Amazing, Do you know if it supports MIDI CC transmission? would be awesome to have more than just midi note data
Right now there is a fork that supports CC, you can check it out here: github.com/hamstah/Orca

I'm getting Watch_Dogs vibes from this. It's so nice to listen to
Well now I want to sample this
This reminds me of Autechre
Yes. I heard about this on the 4 Producers, one sample piece. This is groove is melodic as it is groove-y. Kudos!! 🙌👏🙌
Sounds like Aphex Twin - Windowlicker
This is like glitchy bjork. so cool
