We’ll see how much I got left in the tank, I’m 38 1/2, and I don’t heal up like I used to, but if you ever in my neck of the NC woods, we can go ahead and beat each other up again. Hope training has been going well.

Yeah, Freelance has lots of experience, this was 717's first "professional" fight, though he's been training for years. Freelance said afterward that he couldn't take many more of 717's punches/kicks, so he knew he had to end it on the ground fast. After the fight, Freelance gave 717 some tips in ground game. Can you guys actually get refs that understand grappling even a little bit? Way too many times I hear refs telling fighters to advance their position when theyre actually right in the middle of setting up a submission 🤦♂️
I know this is just backyard BS and not a professional league but at least have enough respect for your fighters to give them a ref that can identify wtf is going on when it gets to the ground
I think they addressed this and they said something like "This is Freestyle Fighting" which basically means the ground is boring and we'll only let you stay down there if you're entertaining. But, we will reset to standing neutral if there is any reason to reset. That dude has his back and they reset to standing. Unbelievable, but that's freestyle Fighting, I guess lol

There shouldn't be any cameramen in the cage. Then in the edited video on UA-cam, the ref is blocking the tap despite someone with a camera in full view of the tap. Makes no sense to me.
