From a rural village in the district of Thaba Tseka is a man with a painful yet awe-inspiring story. He grew up an orphan fending for himself and his younger sister from the age of 11 and found himself homeless trying to start a life in Maseru, yet Lehlohonolo Mayeza still fought to change his reality by playing the cards he was dealt the best way he knew how.
Hard to believe, but he had never seen a television until well into his young adulthood, yet he dreamt of becoming a world renowned actor from the stories people told him of the amazing things actors did in movie scenes. Today we know him as Leruo, a lead actor in the Showmax original series that has had all of Lesotho & South Africa glued to their screens; Outlaws. And yet again, he says this is only the beginning.
