However, the treatment "fail" and turn Mephisto into a "bird" made of pure originium, which is the highest level of originium biohazard condition. When Doctor and Kal'tsit found him, he stands on a hill a of corpse of infected Sarkaz and Reunion soldiers. In order to avoid the biohazard condition from spreading out of the "Stone Tomb", there is "cleaned" by Kal'tsit team. No trace of life or corpse was left there. Before and after the cleaning, Doctor ask Kal'tsit for the usage of the "Stone Tomb". Kal'tsit answers that it is a medical chamber with a "infinite" energy source which is made by ancient human. 1% of its energy is enough to power the entire Chernoborg nomad city. The medical chamber fail to cure Mephisto because either Mephisto is not an ancient human or he pressed the wrong button. Kal'tsit also says that Doctor killed Theresia(former Sarkaz Queen, Leader of Babel) and she is still angry of Doctor for doing that. Reason that why Doctor killed Theresia was not mentioned. However, Kal'tsit swears that she still will protect Doctor until her death (this kind of sentences is always said in a wedding ceremony). After seeing the medical chamber, Doctor has some memory back. Doctor remembers that a female *human* called 普瑞赛斯(translated as priestess or PRTS in CN community) put him into the chamber. According to the conversation in his memory like "My love on you can travel though space and time. Don't forget about me.", priestess is either his girlfriend or wife. According to this, Doctor is probably a gene-modified ancient human (Homo sapien).

If amiya we're to step in the tomb what will she be like? What is kal'tsit's true feelings for doc? Are there more ppl with same species as doc or the doc is the last of its kind. Honestly I really like the fact that Memphisto survives chapter 8. Why? Because I like that he is like a rival to Amiya. They have excellent contrast. Amiya wants to save, but her power can only kill. Mephisto wants to kill, but his power can only save.
but he ends up in the sarcophagus (the one that doc woke up in) and turns into this bird because faust died (in meph's dialogue he said that he wants to forget everything like the doctor, he wants to forget his friends (frostnova, patriot, alexander, misha, tahlula etc) and restart. He regrets everything. but HP decides to end his story on a lullaby, despite his devilry. It's cynical and sad at the same time :(( RIP

yes, there is secret Cutscene when you let Mephisto move in to the blue box, From what I heard, Kal'tsit told the doctor that Mephisto could be cured, but the decision to cure him is up to the doctor, whether to let him die or be healed.

Specifically she mentions that no matter what they need to heal mehpisto and turn him back into a normal infected because in this state there's virtually nothing they could otherwise do that would stop him from releasing a unique form of Oripathy worse than the normal strain. Even incinerating him might only make that worse. Kal'tsit says that after that though he'd be in trouble. He'd basically be his old self with a worse case of Oripathy. She says she could help him further but she washes her hands of the situation past that point, and says whether or not he's left to fend for himself in Chernobog, Executed immediately, or given further treatment is up to the Doctor.

noob question, i know 777ucky did an amazing feat at 0:38 but does saria and suzuran proc necessary? i mean saria lowers the enemy res but surtr's atk are physical.. so both suzuran and saria's proc skills doesnt help surtr's damage output right? except of course Aak, he buffed her.. maybe it is necessary for healing? but i thought surtr has a passive like specter's 2nd skill that she doesnt die with 1 hp.. i'm confused now
