People want to believe they go straight to heaven when they die so we have something nice to say at funerals. They also say they are an angel looking down on us, or that they watch over us, and doing other things in heaven that are not Biblical. They also believe their pets on earth are with them. It's all about feelings and what they want, not what Scripture says.
Those poor people need to go seek & find understanding real fast cause they will certainly be trapped with Satan trying to dig their way from beneath hoping a ladder is available to climb the stairwell of Heaven.😢😊.

Yes you are correct and on the right path. See Acts 2:34 for solid confirmation. Nobody's going anywhere until the 7th trumpet (shofar) sounds and Yahusha returns to gather his predestined elect family members. No, there is no rapture that precedes his return. The "dead" rise first when the living are still in the flesh on the Earth and they rise next.

I disagree completely. When you die, your spirit goes to be with the Lord. It doesn't stay in a rotting body in a grave. It goes on one side of the gulf or the other awaiting the Millennial. You have to look up the original Hebrew.
I always took that verse to mean that when we are keeping ourselves from the desires of the flesh, that we are walking in His Way. Idk that im right, but thats along the lines of what it means to me.

Thank you for this. I have heard this misquoted so many, many times and have never understood it in context with Paul's other verses in I Corinthians; until now. This helped so much.
I notice he makes false statements then he leaves and doesn't come back and answer questions. Like Paul and others have said in the old and new Testaments, “To be absent from the body IS to be present with the Lord”
Paul didn't say that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. He said that we are pleased to be absent from the body AND to be present with the Lord. II Corinthians 5:8 NKJV [8] We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
No, for all those that made it to His coming will be fore the generation that was still alive when here comes or gets here, we the dead will stay asleep till judgement day when books will be open and we come to know if we made it a life of a spiritual body and eternity. What we most think of is how long will this waiting will be as we sleep for a long time. I know it says '' how long Lord and the lord say ''just a bit longer'' we all wonder how long is this '' bit longer will be.
Great video Lex; simple, concise and right! The scholars and pastors have fleeced generations of the flock with their 'needed' interpretations of this verse about what happens when we die. Combined with so many other needed changes in so many other verses, well, they have created many religious religions. We all care what happens when we die and are being lied to about it; an inside job! The apostate church is being exposed and a warning is always given. Thank you for proclaiming the resurrection. The Lord graciously transformed my paradigm just over 10 years ago and now the Bible makes so much more sense to me. The puzzle pieces fit together, from Genesis to Revelation. You really learn about the cost of discipleship when you proclaim the truth about death, resurrection, and conditional immortality, though!
So when Paul told the Philippians he was torn between continuing his earthly ministry and being with the Lord, what was he talking about? Also, Jesus telling the convict beside him that today he would be with him in Paradise? Also Paul's visit to Paradise (the third heaven)?
I've been in church for years and have seen much of the bible taken out of text . And when I hear people say every body intercept the bible differently that is a cop out . The bible is put right in front of your face . Read it and take it as it is . And that is hard to do .
I don't agree at all. You are twisting the scripture just as badly as the ones you accuse of doing the same thing. You are talking about two independent events, where your spirit goes when you die and what happens to your body at the resurrection! Otherwise, Jesus lies to the thief on the cross. Luke 23:43, "And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.” The thief's body will not be with God, but his spirit will be until the resurrection.
I appreciate this teaching. Have taught it many times, but know this... no one will accept it if their heart wants to think anything else. People want to be comforted rather than hear that they will have to wait. It is frustrating, but just a simple study on human nature.

3 days later from the cross Jesus tells Mary not to cling to Him because He had not yet ascended so when Jesus tells the thief "today you will be with me in paradise", evidently it is not in heaven because Jesus didn't go there as we see from scripture.

You have proven that the teaching in this video is true. The dead in Christ are RAISED FIRST", that means resurrected from the ground. The people that have not died yet are also transformed, but not resurrected. Very simple if you had clear thinking, not distorted by unlearned Sunday school teachers.

The dead believers in Christ in the graves wait for the ressurection of their bodies, but their spirit is indeed with the Lord. In other words: The body is the only part which is not redeeemed yet. This will take place at the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, just like it's written: "For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive. But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's *at his coming* (1. Corinthians 15, 22-23 / KJV) A human being is not just made of a physical body, but body, soul and spirit (1. Thessalonians 5,23 / KJV)

It's true that the bible uses the word "Soul" many times for living people, just as we do today (for example: He's a gentle soul...). But it's also true that it uses it for our Psyche. The Soul is what we really are, our inner Being, our Personality, the residence of our Feelings and Emotions. It's exactly what the Psychologist deals with (although the majority of them don't have a solid understanding of what the human being really is, because they have a materialistic world-view based on Evolution and don't believe the bible and so their understanding has not been renewed). Gen 2:7 we are formed from dust and the breath of God/spirit Gen 3:19 + Ecclesiastes 12:17 when we die we return to dust and the spirit/breath of life returns to God. Ezekiel 36:26 When raised we receive a new body and a new spirit/breath of life.
When Jesus died on the cross and gave up the spirit did he return to the father then and there or just the spirit/breath of life? Or Was he in the grave for 3 day, raise from the grave, preach to the apostles, and then ascend?

This can be well understood when you study the resurrection of Jesus.. He died and where did he do to? He resurrected in a glorious body then where did he go?
Great teaching. I always wondered if paul was refering to how we will all be changed in a twinkling of a eye when he was referring to " to be absent from the body is to be present to the lord" verse. Because When I die I might be dead for 300 years, but to me it might be like just waking up after I fell asleep. Not that we die then are with the lord instantly, but it will seem that way. I would like to ask if you might do a video that shows the working of the original Temple, and comparing our bodies with it, and explain how we are now the Temple. I’m thinking things like eating meat as the current sacrifices, and whatever other comparisons there are.
The Holy Spirit lives in the body of the believer. When our soul leaves this body the Holy Spirit will be with us forever and we will be cared for until we receive our new bodies not made with hands.

Moreover, Moses, after the seventh day was overbegins to talk philosophically; and concerning the formation of man, says thus: That God took dust from the ground, and formed man, and inserted in him a spirit and a soul.
It's crazy how people will take one phrase out of a single verse out of context. And if you read the full chaptee, you'll see it's not referring to an afterlife. When you die because there is no thought, no concept of time, you're next conscious thought from the moment you die will be in presence of Jesus.

Of course nobody in the crowd was sinless ... and couldn't witness against her, because they weren't present when it occurred.

You do believe that those who have been born again when they die they go to a place of rest right and not heaven itself? Just as non believers go to a place of torment when they die.
Yeshua's death and resurrection paid for our sins. His work was done after this sacrifice. Since His work was done, what did He do? Hebrews 10:12 but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, SAT DOWN at the right hand of God, What is Yeshua doing at the death of one of His followers? Acts 7:55-56,59-60 55 But being full of the Holy Spirit, he gazed intently into heaven and saw the glory of God, and Jesus STANDING at the right hand of God; 56 and he said, “Behold, I see the heavens opened up and the Son of Man STANDING at the right hand of God.” ... 59 They went on stoning Stephen as he called on the Lord and said, “Lord Jesus, RECEIVE my spirit!” 60 Then falling on his knees, he cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them!” Having said this, he fell asleep. Why would Yeshua go from sitting down in heaven when the payment for sin is completed to standing in heaven at the death of one of His followers? If I may. My understanding of 2 Cor 5 : 8 is different, since I see this teaching of Paul only demonstrates our "DELAY" from one form to the next. Why and how: --- My template here comes from Yeshua's own words in John 5: 24. The person who hears the word and believes Him who sent Him ...(ALREADY) ..... HAS... eternal life and does not come into judgement. Like a seed planted in the ground, the seed in itself ALREADY HAS life contained within it, that LATER germinates into something far more than the seed of itself expresses by it's first appearance. The next template comes from Yeshua's own resurrection. Ask yourself, where is the husk of His body? Did He leave His body in the tomb? No. It was raised but now is incorruptible, the first of many siblings. The same body that could walk through a wall, eat a bit of fish then disappear, and much more, is to be our form some day. Since Thomas could touch that body, it implies that our own bodies will have baryonic matter combined within it as well, albeit with His laws inscribed within us .
I hear this every time someone passes away. And then there are people who say that God needed another angel in heaven and I just want to say something but I just keep my mouth shut. I'm in some women Christian support groups and there's a lot of twisting of scriptures that we hear a lot of. My question is how do I address a person who's arguing concerning the scripture and uses NDE testimonies as proof. I wish you would do a film about that because I just don't know what to say.
You show that there's a possibility of a time gap but no text that expresses that gap as doctrine in order for inferences to matter. The Catholic dogma of purgatory is also made via inference but is not a doctrine given in scripture therefore the inference has no founding. In order for inference to matter the doctrine has to be positively taught--not found through negative evidence
I feel very conflicted about this. There is way too much evidence that suggests that we are present with the Lord after death. The theif on the cross. The witch of Endor. The mount of transfiguration. Lazarus and the rich man. The martyrs whos souls are under the throne of God in Revelation.
This sounds more like what the Pharisees taught. I’m very discerning when I read the Bible. I let the Holy Spirit lead me and your teaching feels wrong. Thank you for your opinion but I’ll stick to the Holy Spirit leading me. If I’m wrong, I’ll be judged as such.

When I read 2 Cor. For the first time and got to chapter 5, having read it in context, I knew everyone quoting that verse is misusing it.
Yes it helps to read the whole book or at least a chapter or two to see the context. Unfortunately we live in a "verse for the day" culture.
I used to believe differently, I found thru prayer and reading the scripture that what I believed was different than the truth. So glad the lord enlightened me. The scripture is so much clearer now that the truth is revealed. Good teaching.

People want to believe they go straight to heaven when they die so we have something nice to say at funerals. They also say they are an angel looking down on us, or that they watch over us, and doing other things in heaven that are not Biblical. They also believe their pets on earth are with them. It's all about feelings and what they want, not what Scripture says.
That answer is spot on!! If someone reads the bible without any of man's traditional teachings, one would never come up with the doctrine of heaven.
Those poor people need to go seek & find understanding real fast cause they will certainly be trapped with Satan trying to dig their way from beneath hoping a ladder is available to climb the stairwell of Heaven.😢😊.

Nobody's going anywhere until the 7th trumpet (shofar) sounds and Yahusha returns to gather his predestined elect family members. No, there is no rapture that precedes his return. Paul didn't say that to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. He said that we are pleased to be absent from the body AND to be present with the Lord.

No, for all those that made it to His coming will be fore the generation that was still alive when here comes or gets here, we the dead will stay asleep till judgement day when books will be open and we come to know if we made it a life of a spiritual body and eternity. I've been in church for years and have seen much of the bible taken out of text . And when I hear people say every body intercept the bible differently that is a cop out . The bible is put right in front of your face . Read it and take it as it is . And that is hard to do .
I don't agree at all. You are twisting the scripture just as badly as the ones you accuse of doing the same thing. You are talking about two independent events, where your spirit goes when you die and what happens to your body at the resurrection! Otherwise, Jesus lies to the thief on the cross. Luke 23:43, "And he said to him, “Truly, I say to you, today you will be with me in paradise.” The thief's body will not be with God, but his spirit will be until the resurrection.
Jesus said to the thief, “I tell you the truth today-- you will be with me in paradise.”
I appreciate this teaching. Have taught it many times, but know this... no one will accept it if their heart wants to think anything else.

3 days later from the cross Jesus tells Mary not to cling to Him because He had not yet ascended so when Jesus tells the thief "today you will be with me in paradise", evidently it is not in heaven because Jesus didn't go there as we see from scripture.

The dead believers in Christ in the graves wait for the ressurection of their bodies, but their spirit is indeed with the Lord. In other words: The body is the only part which is not redeeemed yet. This will take place at the return of our Lord Jesus Christ, just like it's written:

When one is removed, we are no longer a living soul. We are unconscious in the grave awaiting the resurrection unto eternal life or the second resurrection of unto eternal damnation.

It's true that the bible uses the word "Soul" many times for living people, just as we do today (for example: He's a gentle soul...). But it's also true that it uses it for our Psyche. The Soul is what we really are, our inner Being, our Personality, the residence of our Feelings and Emotions. It's exactly what the Psychologist deals with (although the majority of them don't have a solid understanding of what the human being really is, because they have a materialistic world-view based on Evolution and don't believe the bible and so their understanding has not been renewed).
Here are some examples for the Soul when it refers to our Psyche. All quotes are from the King James Bible (of course):
1) "And Mary said, My *soul* doth magnify the Lord," (Luke 1,46)
2) Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my *soul* is even as a weaned child. (Psalm 131,2)
3) "My *soul* is weary of my life; I will leave my complaint upon myself; I will speak in the bitterness of my soul." (Job 10,1)
4) "My *soul* longeth, yea, even fainteth for the courts of the Lord: my heart and my flesh crieth out for the living God." (Psalm 84,2)

Because When I die I might be dead for 300 years, but to me it might be like just waking up after I fell asleep. Not that we die then are with the lord instantly, but it will seem that way. I would like to ask if you might do a video that shows the working of the original Temple, and comparing our bodies with it, and explain how we are now the Temple. I’m thinking things like eating meat as the current sacrifices, and whatever other comparisons there are.
The Holy Spirit lives in the body of the believer. When our soul leaves this body the Holy Spirit will be with us forever and we will be cared for until we receive our new bodies not made with hands.

Do you have a SCRIPTURE for that? It's a Christian belief that the SOUL or spirit (real person) leaves the body at death and go immediately to Heaven. That's a big fat LIE. Lex taught right. That doesn't happen. What is the SOUL? The ENTIRE man, the WHOLE person or being. One SCRIPTURE is ENOUGH on this:

SOUL is the whole person. Or the LIFE of the person. It's not a separate "thingy" that leaves The Person at death. SOUL IS THE PERSON [ALL that a person is].... So, spirit, soul & body. Jesus lead captivity captive to heaven. Yes when we die we go to heaven. Our spirit returns to the Lord. Our spirit does not remain on earth.
The breath goes back to God. Everything else remains on the earth until the resurrection of the dead.
It's crazy how people will take one phrase out of a single verse out of context.
And if you read the full chaptee, you'll see it's not referring to an afterlife.
When you die because there is no thought, no concept of time, you're next conscious thought from the moment you die will be in presence of Jesus.

Nope. It took TWO witnesses to condemn a man. Yahusha was asking for a person present in the crowd that "witnessed" the woman in the act of adultery be the "first" (of the two witnesses) cast the FIRST stone. Of course nobody in the crowd was sinless ... and couldn't witness against her, because they weren't present when it occurred.

There are the souls of martyred saints under the altar in Revelation 6:9 so, souls can be in heaven without their resurrection body.
I just came from a funeral and the preacher was saying that the lady that died was in heaven, but I corrected him, and he twisted this verse.

Yeshua's death and resurrection paid for our sins. His work was done after this sacrifice. Since His work was done, what did He do?

What is Yeshua doing at the death of one of His followers?

Why would Yeshua go from sitting down in heaven when the payment for sin is completed to standing in heaven at the death of one of His followers? Does Yeshua expect that follower to go into a state of unconsciousness?

If I may. My understanding of 2 Cor 5 : 8 is different, since I see this teaching of Paul only demonstrates our "DELAY" from one form to the next. Why and how: --- My template here comes from Yeshua's own words in John 5: 24. The person who hears the word and believes Him who sent Him ...(ALREADY) ..... HAS... eternal life and does not come into judgement. Like a seed planted in the ground, the seed in itself ALREADY HAS life contained within it, that LATER germinates into something far more than the seed of itself expresses by it's first appearance. The next template comes from Yeshua's own resurrection. Ask yourself, where is the husk of His body? Did He leave His body in the tomb? No. It was raised but now is incorruptible, the first of many siblings. The same body that could walk through a wall, eat a bit of fish then disappear, and much more, is to be our form some day. Since Thomas could touch that body, it implies that our own bodies will have baryonic matter combined within it as well, albeit with His laws inscribed within us .

I hear this every time someone passes away. And then there are people who say that God needed another angel in heaven and I just want to say something but I just keep my mouth shut. I'm in some women Christian support groups and there's a lot of twisting of scriptures that we hear a lot of. My question is how do I address a person who's arguing concerning the scripture and uses NDE testimonies as proof. I wish you would do a film about that because I just don't know what to say.

You show that there's a possibility of a time gap but no text that expresses that gap as doctrine in order for inferences to matter.
The Catholic dogma of purgatory is also made via inference but is not a doctrine given in scripture therefore the inference has no founding.
In order for inference to matter the doctrine has to be positively taught--not found through negative evidence
So what happens between death and Resurrection
Right the new body is given to the spirit that left when they died. Jihn saw the disembodied spirits of the martyrs in heaven.
Where does the Holy Spirit that indwells a believer go when he dies?
Ecclesiastes 12:7 and the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.
I feel very conflicted about this. There is way too much evidence that suggests that we are present with the Lord after death. The theif on the cross. The witch of Endor. The mount of transfiguration. Lazarus and the rich man. The martyrs whos souls are under the throne of God in Revelation.
This sounds more like what the Pharisees taught. I’m very discerning when I read the Bible. I let the Holy Spirit lead me and your teaching feels wrong. Thank you for your opinion but I’ll stick to the Holy Spirit leading me. If I’m wrong, I’ll be judged as such.
