honoring one of our fallen heroes and Ariana Preston just 24 years old and as
we were talking throughout this past hour leading up to the funeral she joined the Chicago Police Department in
May of 2021 that's two years ago right she was you know just barely out of her rookie year barely out of that and was
set to get her master's degree from this past weekend her mother accepted her master's degree from Loyola University\
read through the obituary that we have some copies of that here her birthday June 7th 1998 she was
gunned down in front of her home in Avalon Park literally a month shy
of her 25th birthday yeah it just seems so unfathomable and still wearing her
uniform that this is considered in the line of duty her death as even though
she had just finished her shift in the early morning hours from the fifth district she was on her way home
and the victim of a robbery
My condolences to this family during this unimaginable tragic loss. Have mercy oh God on those who are grieving.
Their is no scream like a mother’s filled with agony and pain.
