Hi Steve, I would have loved to have been there and had one of those owls fly over and sit on my lap. I have some very tall trees on my three acres, that house some big owls. Each owl has his own tree, and they call to each other back and forth. An owl perched himself on my bird feeder recently, only about nine feet off the ground. So I went out there and just stood there, staring at him, very quietly. I didn't scare him, I just wanted to let him or her know that I was watching him, in case he was thinking of grabbing one of my wild bunny rabbits, or a chipmunk. So we stared at each other for a while, which I think made him uncomfortable, and he flew away. First time I had ever won a staring contest with an owl. Enjoy the holidays, and stay warm! 🎄🎄🎄
