Passive noise canceling is what happens naturally when u put your earbuds in. This is because of the tight seal you will get because of the fit. So better the fit better the passive noise canceling. Active noise canceling is technology enabled. This is a hardware capability. There will be additional microphones in the headsets which captures the external ambient noise and then with the help of technology those noises are cancelled out. Hence the level of ambient noise coming inside your ears are very minimal giving a better hearing experience.
Boult one is stupid one. Not good for calls. I have one I am using that one as secondary for rough use. My main one is Jabra Active 75t. Which is a Gem.

You need to review properly.. segregate the test scenarios... connecting with laptop.. listening to prime/netflix audio.. normal call and whatsapp call.. the boat airdopes 131 that you recommended is actually rubbish... you cannot make proper whatsapp calls with that..there was another ear pods that i bought for listening to music and it failed miserably while watching netflix.. the sound fluctuates.. hope you take this feedback for your future tests :)
