  • A little work-in-progress, started as a way to get to learn Tempera. After spending a lot of time creating a canvas on Tempera as a stand alone device, I hooked it into the larger system and started to play. A couple days ago, I acquired a Digitakt II, so this morphed into a crash course on that too. This is literally the first thing I’ve done on the ‘takt, which is why there’s only one pattern.
Supporting cast is Peak, OB-6, 3rd Wave, and Prophet 10. Hapax is just being used to route MIDI and apply automation and modulation. Sequencing is from Torso T-1.
Just noticed the video gets very choppy near the end. Not sure why this is happening, but the audio is fine.

Please excuse the choppy ending on this. Something went wrong on upload. Since the audio is good, and this isn’t a finished track anyway, I’ll leave it as-is.

This track has a lot of instruments, but it feels more like a fun, lighthearted sound than something serious. I think it’s missing some depth in the music theory. I’d love to hear your thoughts on that!

@@jeno.javori_music that’s all fair. I agree it’s quite simple in structure, but honestly I’m enjoying that aspect, as I often to add more and more complexity to my work. I have a problem leaving things OUT typically. So for me this simplicity is kind of refreshing. And as I work to finish this track, I’m aiming to keep it streamlined. Thank you for the comment!
