One of our favorite places in Florida! We have been blessed to go to Discovery Cove 3 times. The latest was Jan 2021. We were in Florida for 7 days. All week long it was sunny and low 70's until...Discovery Cove day it was rainy and in the low 50's. We went anyway. The lazy river was heated. We spent most of our time there. Food was still awesome as always. You are going to have THE best time!
What beers and other drinks are included in the price? I know there is a premium package, but a couple of beers and wine for my wife would be just fine. It doesn't specify on the website.
We love Discovery Cove. We go everytime we are on vacation. We always get the Dolphin encounter with the three park package. After you go to Discovery Cove, you get 14 free days at Sea World, Bush Gardens and the water park. Parking is included. That is an awesome deal. I was thinking about the 3 park pkg, we’ll be in Orlando/Universal 2 weeks. But May be too much running around. Still thinking about the Discovery cove/Sea World/ Aquatica. Years ago Universal & Wet & Wild were included in park selection! So we did Universal, SeaWorld and Busch! So much fun.
My family was there on February 28 and Latoya was the dolphin that we had too. If you are going to Discovery Cove, make sure to checkout their Black Friday specials. The cost to book it today is almost 4x as much as we paid when we booked it back in November.
We visited there in 2018 and absolutely loved every second, we had an early dolphin swim which was awesome such an experience, then breakfast and then while everyone else in our party went exploring I just lazed about in a hammock. The pictures we got were stunning and memories that'll last a lifetime. I agree with you both about how you can feel the power of the dolphin such beautiful creatures, if anyone has been thinking if visiting Discovery Cove then I'd say do it you won't regret it. We went to discovery cove last June and it was the best day! I highly recommend purchasing the photo package online before you go, because it is a lot less expensive to purchase in advance and it comes with a few free prints, a photo album to put them in, and a cute wooden discovery cove picture frame.
Our kids and us adults loved the unlimited banana and piña colada icees. We also loved the little snack selections at those kiosks. My kids liked that they could get fresh cookies and bags of chips. Someone recommended getting an icee and a glass of wine and pouring the wine into the icee. I dont think you mentioned, but beer and wine are included in the regular admission, (unless they recently changed that).
Also, I wanted to mention, they do have many more foot wash/rinse off stations. They are over near some of the bathrooms and locker areas.

A year ago I swam with Maui!!!! Loved every second!!! I also really enjoyed the aviary. Beautiful birds you can feed. They come up to you and may land on your arm to eat from food they provide for free. The lazy river also runs through part of it. You need to go again and film the aviary as well as one of the extra excursions where we got to see a variety of animals including a sloth. Beautiful filming of a beautiful place !!!

Love Discovery cove it's excellent value and one of the best days out you will havr, it's a no brainer as you get free parking and access to seaworld and aquatica included in tbe price.
Brought back great memories of end of January. Love the place. Ironically we swam with Latoya back in 2016 on our first visit.

Oh my gosh I’am so happy for you two. When my wife and I did a cruise for our 25 th wedding anniversary. We swam with the dolphins in Mexico. That was my dream come true. My wife was pretty nervous.not me.I was so excited actually crying to see my dolphins in person. So I know how Nikki felt. But I was so proud of my wife.I love our pictures . You two look amazing with you’re dolphins.
They also have perception goggles for us eyeglass folks! And during black Friday they always have great deals aka the drink upgrade. Although if your 21 and mix red wine with a cherry slushy 😆🍷🍹
Yes...did it in December and had no idea it was a thing. I have such nearsightedness that I can't see a foot ahead of me without my glasses. The prescription goggles are free, and available next to the gift shop. Just have to know your script. I went with what my weaker eye is and did just fine. I'm glad someone hit on this topic.

You guys got the same dolphin that I did. They call her "Lemon Lips Latoya." Such a great hostess. I will say that Discovery Cove is for Strong swimmers if you want to experience it all.
Thanks a bunch for this video. My family and I were there twice but not for a while. We miss the dolphins, the rays, and the river trip. There a lot more things now and it looks fantastic.

If I can give you a tip for not loosing your GoPro in the water, there are 'selfiesticks' that will float when you loose your GoPro. So it brings the GoPro always back to the surface. Great video and loved the park (been there a few years ago). There is (or was?) also Explorers Aviary (birds paradise). The lazy river was quite an adventure, 'cause you can't be that lazy in this river (the one after the beavers) 😀 Many points where you can't rest (stand still). Nice soundfx you're doing when diving under the water with the GoPro. 😁

So glad I found this. We’ve never been to Discovery Cove. Going to Universal in Aug, can set your watch to the 3:00 T Storm. I was thinking of renting one of those lounges that are under a canopy in case it starts raining. Usually rain doesn’t last long. Do they clear the beaches and sitting areas when it rains? We had a covered area in Typoon Lagoon when downpour started and we could stay and wait it out.

Also, did you guys go in the aviary? Even though this is an aquatic place, the aviary is one of my favorite things to do here! I also recommend you guys return to discovery cove and do a flamingo encounter. You have to book it way in advance with your tickets, because they sell out, but it is a really cool experience.

@@RixFlix Just wondering bc people get lazy. Around where I live, it's common knowledge that people use the waterslides/attractions as toilets and it's sick. I thought it might be the same for the wetsuits. I hope they disinfect them.
