Wow… I was there right at the front. When Gareth dropped ‘Where do we go from here’ wowsa. That’s was totally unexpected, such an uplifting inspiring lyrics, narrated rather than sung. Works so well. I can be on of those people that can proudly say.. I was there. First time seeing Gaz live after 9-10 years of following him as an artist Look forward to seeing what holds for him next. But I selfishly want him to come back next year to Luminosity
He hasn't really been a part of trance for a while. Like Tiesto, he realises that there is more money to be made in the USA from a more commercial variety of what we know as EDM. It's a shame though because when he does dip his fingers back into trance the magic is definitely still there.

Considering myself a real fan I must admit I was a bit disappointed by this set. I know Gareth has been talking about moving in a different direction and I can appreciate that, but this felt like an easy ome. But what is bugging me the most is that Gareth in his posts on social media always seems to row against the mainstream and taking a stand against 'Big Money' which I totally respect However, talking about not being in this for the money but for the artistry; why ask which Versace Jeans Couture sweater (about 300 euros each) to wear is beyond me.

I'm usually with all the old timers at Coco Beach Classics Stage complaining about how they don't make good music any more! If you bump into me next year, I'll buy you a beer!
Considering myself a real fan I must admit I was a bit disappointed by this set. I know Gareth has been talking about moving in a different direction and I can appreciate that, but this felt like an easy ome. But what is bugging me the most is that Gareth in his posts on social media always seems to row against the mainstream and taking a stand against 'Big Money' which I totally respect However, talking about not being in this for the money but for the artistry; why ask which Versace Jeans Couture sweater (about 300 euros each) to wear is beyond me.
Mainly EDM not trance! Glad I gave this one a miss at Lumi and listened to some djs who haven’t sold their soul for money! 🤷🏼
