    Well I am happy that they seen fit to give up some but they only let you enjoy the moment for a little bit and take it back on something else. Looks like there is money to be made back east. Here in alaska, everything has to go out by boat so when scrap prices were so high back in 2015 or 17, we made some money here. This property used to belong to my bothers father in law and when he past then my brother scaped everything and I mean everything. The newest rig was in the fifties and there was tons and tons and he gave it away cause he wanted to sell out which he did the next spring... ruffly ten semi dump loads a day for over a month. A good third of the rig's ran and a lot of them still did cause I would go up and bottle feed them and fire em up. I hated seeing the forty one gmc with the double axle and long double booms, not one dent, covered with moss but it had the big 501 six cylinder motor and then a five and four trans. I liked that old truck. those guys fed it to their shredder and torched the ten hole wheels off. I even drove it the day he personally fed it to be crush/shredder and hauled it out. Oh well

    • @1320LUV
      @1320LUV  5 років тому

      Wow what a story! That many loads is unbelievable didnt know people held onto stuff like that. I've always said if I had it to do over again I would have saved all kinds of motors/trans, PTO, hydraulic cylinders etc for a couple years and hauled it to Alaska to live alone and build/make whatever I needed. It would be a personal goal/dream. So cool to start with nothing and end up with something you did alone

    You are joking here in Canada a rotor is worth 2dollars to 3dollars a piece we pay a 1dollar for them generally a lot of garages sell them to the guy that buys the cats and aluminum rims they will buy all the rotors also I know guys that have a run all through Ontario Canada that go for 2 or 3 day and buy all the cats. Rotors and rims only aluminum I can’t believe how much they gave you but I guess money is money wen you don’t have much others on the go

    • @1320LUV
      @1320LUV  5 років тому +1

      It has other unseen issues, the diverter switch that switches the gas tanks (it has one on each side of bed) has something wrong with it and has to be squeezed to make fuel pump run. Brakes are gone (maybe just a line broken somewhere) but the biggest issue is that I didnt get a title with it so getting tags and legal would be very challenging if not impossible in Maryland.
