I absolutely enjoyed this. I would love to see this as an hour+ vid of relaxing microorganism activity. No music, no major editing, just watching the busy little dudes toodling along...it's very relaxing but still engaging. I noticed that you haven't posted in a while (I have checked your other media) I hope you are safe and well. Happy New Year
It looks so pretty! A little world of wonders. After reading the description, I noticed how they really do bring things to their mouth with a vortex, that's cool.
Can you ever show us how you prepare a slide and show 1x then the zoom in magic? For newbies - it's kind of tricky to wrap my head around how small it is we're talking and how deep the 3D space goes in your slides. I remember on Journey to the Microcosmos your narrator talking about some specimens being suffocated or crushed by the slide, but when you're really zoomed in I see things moving on the z axis, coming in and out of focus. I don't really know how far they're moving though and whether they behave the same in a big pool of water, freely moving in 3 axes or if they're usually near a surface and track along it or what.
Can I ask you which camera you used to record this in 4k? I just purchased a Motic scope and I am trying to decide between mounting a DSLR or buying a dedicated microscope camera. The moticams though seem a bit too expensive for me. What's your setup if you don't mind me asking? Thank you! Love your channel!
Hey dude just trying to help- I don't think stentors have pseudopodia, they have contractile vacuoles that contract when they sense calcium. Pseudopodia is when a microbe can turn its cytoplasm from a solid state into a liquid in order to move, hope this helps!

Well do you know microorganisms and single celled creatures?
@@when_you3533 Yeah, I guess? What do you mean
The micro world is fascinating
An the micro world inside of thr micro world and on an on AN ON AN ON FOREVER AN EVER.
It never ends. Infinite levels.

i like this channel because there is no stupid background music. hope someday we can hear the organisms.
Would be a great addition if we had some commentary though. Never the less, still a great channel. Thank you for your time and effort.
I wish I had an aquarium like this, but that I can see the germs without a microscope, if that makes sense
maybe make a very small aquarium and put a massive magnifying glass on it?
You can get glow in the dark fishes! My dad used to have an aquarium like and it looks kinda like this
I think the universe is like this. We are so small and life is right in front of us but we to small to notice or hardly be effected by.
Wow! It's really like looking at fishes, algae and crabs (the ones moving abruptly).
Muy hermoso, buen trabajo
Gracias
I absolutely love the 4k 60fps! Please make more like this
Incredible! 🤯

Its great you like microorganisms so much
Its so good to see your happiness towards them
Hello James. Did you use Rheinberg Illumination for this video ? If yes, is this a DIY filter ?
That's a lot of vacuum machines!
What are those little cucumber shaped things that look like a mobile rotifer with ears?
It's actually an single-celled organism that I don't know yet
What microscope do you have ?
Please
Motic BA310
Quite amusing

Hey there! I use a Fujifilm X-T3 with my Motic BA310 microscope. 😊
Vorticella?
It trips me out when they suddenly retract their psuedopodia. I seriously jumped; like oh shit what happened?

@@noinformationavailable4114 thank you! It does. I feel like I just got schooled...and it was great.
Did you copy this video from journey to the microcosmos?
I make Journey to the Microcosmos
40x? my goodness these are some gargantuan germs!
Wow you should add royalty free music over it. Something mystical. There are lots on soundcloud.
i wish Darwin was alive to see this
"Darwin" who?
